It’s just how I talk.

I'm very much tempted to go out on a limb here, and that limb might also be well out of line. Oh, what the heck >>>

Due to some experiences with a brother and one of my best friends, I'm guessing you're somewhere on the Asperger's spectrum. If that's incorrect and/or inappropriate, I apologize.

It wasn't meant to be an insult (not at all!), but merely an observation. Reading your posts is "familiar" to me, mainly because I deal with similar on a daily basis, both in written and verbal form.

No offense, I was going with TBI.

Also a distinct possibility, for sure. I'm thinking Asperger's because of the difficulty picking up sarcasm and/or humor. Clearly though, my opinions are impacted/biased by personal experiences.

For some reason I'm thinking they were fixed at 3.4v. I have NO idea why I think that, or where I recalled it from, but it's in my head for some reason.

Is that correct or were they 3.7?

    Now I have a brain ache. ;)
    U be correct with both.
    The eGo (Joytech) was 3.4v
    The Ego (Kanger) was 3.7v

    He said "aphasia".

"Aphasia is a disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language. For most people, these areas are on the left side of the brain. Aphasia usually occurs suddenly, often following a stroke or head injury, but it may also develop slowly, as the result of a brain tumor or a progressive neurological disease. The disorder impairs the expression and understanding of language as well as reading and writing. Aphasia may co-occur with speech disorders, such as dysarthria or apraxia of speech, which also result from brain damage."

"Aphasia is caused by damage to one or more of the language areas of the brain. Most often, the cause of the brain injury is a stroke. A stroke occurs when a blood clot or a leaking or burst vessel cuts off blood flow to part of the brain. Brain cells die when they do not receive their normal supply of blood, which carries oxygen and important nutrients. Other causes of brain injury are severe blows to the head, brain tumors, gunshot wounds, brain infections, and progressive neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease."

Hey, at least you made it (almost!) 3/4 of the way through :)

It took me that long to get two correct!

    Thanks, SMT.

Proving once again that actually reading all the posts has become an "Area for potential improvement" (as they say in corporate worlds) for me. That sounds much better than simply stating that my attention span has gone to "spit". To-MAY-to, to-MAH-to.

In recognition of said condition, I shall refrain from sarcasm and humor in this thread. At least visibly. :nun:

He is a self proclaimed troublemaker and has repeatedly admitted it over the years. Not only can I relate, I appreciate.

    Just one of many;

Yep. Also add. Both fairly severe. There’s other crap too. One of the reasons I’ve vaped for so long is nicotine is a major anti anxiety.

It also happens to old people. The way I understand it there a word that is on the tip of your tongue but it escapes you. 10 minutes later it will suddenly come to you out of nowhere.

These were definitely not my favorite devices, and they weren't regulated. Maybe they were fixed voltage. There was a light under the button that showed one of three colours to indicate how much charge was left. Possibly a type of fancy Ego. Not sure where I got them and they are long gone now. Once I managed to find them on the internet but forgot their names long ago. I think they were kind of rare.

The only quad I’ve ever own is this weird American built thing I converted to squonk by drilling it. It had 4 vertical coils and you had to use really thin wire and a lot of loops. Every time you add a coil you drop the resistance so with 4 coils you’ve got to have some pretty high resistance coils. Thing worked great when it ran. Because of the thin wire the coils didn’t last as long. No tails of course because of the vertical stack. Rewicking was kind of a pain. You had to wick the coils and trim them BEFORE you put them in the RDA. I think that is a major reason tank cartridge are generally vertical coils. They’re kind of a pain to rewick. I never tried it cartridge style where the wick goes on the outside of a very tigh coil rather than the inside. Might be easier. Have to try it.

The problem is space. Regulated mods are just bigger and more complex(got to have room for the electronics, and because they’re more complicated they break faster). Geekvape did a pretty popular mod for a while that was quite small. It had room for a single 18650. A lot like the one I mentioned but with a much smaller battery. I understand they do on with a 21700 now which I think will likely work better. If you’ve got 18650s they’re easily converted.

Maybe that Geekvape you mentioned was the Solo. I have quite a few of them. Pretty bulletproof mods. Very comfortable to hold, IMO. Never had anything with bigger batteries. Since I do low power vaping an 18650 lasts plenty long enough for me.

Oddest thing I ever saw was an attachment you could get for a Silver Bullet mech. It replaced the top section of the mod and it had two 510 sockets on top so you could install 2 tanks. Can't remember whether it had 2 fire buttons or a switch to select the tank. Never had one but I saw pictures. I do have a collection of Silver Bullets for when all my regs die.

One thing I wish I had in my stash for nostalgia reasons is the cigalike I started vaping with. It was called E-light Elite, made in Chicago. I vaped them for years until I got my first Ego, then I threw them all out.
