In fact, a quick check of AEMSA's site found the following March update:
<"Our members are informing us they are very near ready for inspections. Given the geographically diverse locations around the country, the logistics for travel (to perform inspections) are somewhat arduous. The inspections will begin in the very near future and they will take time to complete. Scheduling time to travel, advance purchase tickets, and personal schedules of the inspectors are all factors for each and every inspection. As member’s labs get physically inspected and compliance verified, we will be posting the certifications on our website.">
So these will be voluntary, scheduled inspections by members who support the organization. Remember, quite a few have not joined AEMSA, so you will never see these firms certified. Will the facilities inspection results be posted regardless of the outcome of the inspection? Doesn't sound like it from what I read in that passage. Sounds like they will post certifications but nothing else. I don't think you should count on that for determining the safety of your liquid choices.
EDIT: None of my regular juice vendors are members of AEMSA. I only recognized two of the vendors listed. I have only ordered from one of them. Very short list.
FINAL EDIT (I have to stop, I know, OCD is bad this evening): Their standards do not permit WTAs in any juice. That is a problem. Also, no coloring can be added to any juices, oddly enough. Sounds like the sort of thing that will keep several very good juice makers from ever joining...
