I haven't smoked in 6 months.
For me, the biggest change has been the improvement of my lung capacity. I can take deeper breaths, and I no longer get winded from something as simple as walking up some stairs. Now when I exercise, I stop because I'm tired . . . not because I can't catch my breath.
After 30 years of smoking 2+ packs a day, I had a wicked smoker's cough. It was so bad in the morning that I felt like I was trying to cough up my lungs. Horrible. That was gone within a few weeks of giving up the cigarettes (and
vaping non-stop).
I would say that for me, the only downside to
vaping is that my sense of taste has returned. Food now tastes WONDERFUL. Not surprisingly, I've gained some weight. But now with my new-found energy and stamina, I'm working out, so the weight is slowly coming off.
For me, vaping has not resulted in any real financial savings because I keep buying new devices.

It's not that I'm not happy with what I have . . . it's that I like them so much, I want to try them all.

Truthfully, though, if I don't factor my PV obsession into the picture, yes, I'm spending less money. My tobacco habit was more than $200 a month, and that was before the tax increase.
