Do you feel you need bigger clouds with vaping than with tobacco smoking?

I'm just curious how people feel about this, I know it's personal to each person but it's got me curious.

If you were a tobacco cigarette smoker and are now a vapor, do you feel that you need to make bigger clouds of vapor than the amount of smoke that you exhaled from tobacco cigarettes?

For me, I do feel that I must put out more vapor than I did tobacco smoke when I was a smoker, but I'm not sure why I feel that way. I think it just maybe feels more satisfying to me and I have to wonder if I'd be satisfied at all if vaping put out no cloud at all but still we ingested the same amount of nicotine (assuming your still getting your nic from vaping).

I never felt like I needed to put out a big puff of smoke from a drag on a tobacco cigarette but now even if I got flavor up the yoohoo from vaping, it's not satisfying unless there is at least a decent cloud of vapor to go with it.

I'm not talking about huge clouds like cloud chasers might put out, but I do feel that I need to put out more vapor than when I was smoking tobacco and putting out the smoke.

You?

Absolutely! I never went on a hunt for a great strawberry cheesecake, cereal killer, vanilla custard, etc. cig but I sure as heck do that with juice now and don't know why but there is something oh so satisfying for me to vape big thick juicy coulds.

I know, doesn't make any sense to me either and I often wonder what the heck I'm doing...but then I fill my Reo up with Boba's screw on my Cyclone with AFC, and fog the office out....mmmmmm.

I never paid much attention to the amount of smoke I exhaled when smoking. Now I feel like unless there's enough vapor the taste isn't "full". Up to a point (my experience only) the more vapor the better taste since it's the vapor that carries not only the nicotine but flavor as well. Of course, the more vapor the more juice I use.

I wonder how many cloud chasers have woken up in the morning with an elephant on their chest, or got winded from walking up stairs, or couldn't go more than an hour without a dose of nic. I wonder how many cloud chasers at one point had a doctor visit and told them that if they didn't quit smoking, they'd surely die. I wonder how many cloud chasers were faced with cancer scares. I wonder because (from my experience, and all I have to go on in life are my experiences) not a lot of them are old enough to feel the cumulative effects of smoking for decades.

I don't even know why I post here anymore, or read ECF, even. I'm taking another self-imposed break from here. Call me old, call me outdated, this place just isn't the same as it used to be.

EDITED: Cloud chasing is all the rage, and it just makes me kinda shake my head. Yeah, it's a hobby, yeah, it's perfect for tinkerers. But vaping originally was about quitting smoking. I understand hotrodding and modding and x-game type whatever, but people are assuming that rebuildables and sub ohming are the inevitable end game, and if you're not doing it, you're not doing it right.

Ok, I'm done. Peace out, ya'll. I'll be back later.

EDITED: One last edit. I understand ex-smokers who eventually became cloud chasers. It's not unknown. But the reason why there's this dichotomy going on between "normal" vapers and "cloud chasers" is that, for the most part, and I can't give hard numbers, a lot of us took this up because we KNEW smoking would kill us. It was literally a life or death situation. Now a bunch of hotrodders come in and take what perhaps saved our lives and turn it into an x-sport. With almost zero respect for what this (vaping) was originally intended.

Mah! I'm an old fart!! I can't help it. But speaking as someone who loved counter-culture anything in my past, as I've gotten older, yeah, the whole "get off my lawn" thing is very, very real.

Not really, dont understand the thrill...but then again I dont understand why so many that moved to vaping from tobacco do it by vaping sweet candy and desert flavored juice. To me if it does not taste at least a little like tobacco it is totally unsatisfying.

That part I do understand, at least for me. If I were an alcoholic I wouldn't wish to drink Gin flavored soda as it would simply remind me of the product that I gave up. Where as with vaping I never really wanted to vape tobacco flavored products and didn't want to be reminded of the flavor of it. See now that's where it just gets all messed up in my mind... I don't want to vape tobacco flavored juices as I don't want vaping to remind me so much and possibly tempt me back into tobacco, but then what about the vapor. Why would I find exhaling larger vapor clouds than I used to exhale from tobacco smoke preferable for me. That's one of the things that I just lose it on and don't understand. Why would I want to exhale vapor (smoke like substance) but not want a tobacco flavored liquid, doesn't seem to make much sense on the surface I admit.

Well to be honest I have yet to find a juice that tasted close enough to tobacco to remind me of it...lol...but in the attempt to make it tobacco flavored the juice is inevitably less sweet which I prefer.
