I do.
I have 3 cig-a-like systems (I love each of them) going with all the colors and chargers, 2 different brands of menthol carts that I love (I have about 100 of each), and have bought Vera Bradley make up cases for purse storage of my batteries and carts.
I need to learn moderation.
I hate to think what my life (and checkbook) would be like if I were into mods, and juices, and tanks and all the other stuff. And drip tips. I understand that lampworkers make beautiful custom drip tips (I don't use them, whatever they are). And variable batteries, and so on.
HOW does one learn when enough is enough? I think, being a devoted cig-a-like user, that I'm about maxed out, but you guys? How do you stop?

Overboard...what's that? Lol! Does this count...the last 2 weeks I've purchased
Provari
120 ml juice from HDV
120 ml juice from MBV
90 ml juice from HHV
About 40 cartomizers
5 carto-tanks

Then this morning I get an email from HDV about a sale! I love HDV! They helped me get started & they have some really good juice so...
3 more carto tanks & another 120 ml juice. I also grabbed 25 more cartomizers from another vendor. Yes I think it's a lil overboard but I should be good for a while.

Well, I don't think I've found the perfect vape yet - enough to stay off the cigs, but not the perfect one. And even when I do find a perfect one, if it exists, I'll probably still buy new atomizers and juices and mods and stuff just out of curiosity. When I've tapped the market, hopefully I'll have a workshop with a bench devoted to building custom stuff. The line between satisfied or enough and overboard is real fuzzy.

1) That's not too bad! I'm sure someone can post a pic of their collection that would put anyone in their place here.

2) You don't stop! What I do is "move up" when I made what I'm doing cheap. E.g., once I started DIY-ing my juice I decided that "afforded" more toys because of how much cheaper the juice is now.

3) I was a PAD smoker in CA, so I figure I used to put about $200 a month into cigarettes. As long as I'm staying under that I don't fret because I didn't have a problem affording it before. So far, that hasn't been hard at all.

4) Keep in mind that juice expires and carts dry out. It might help to curb your carto-collecting to remember that the last of those batches of 100 cartos you have won't be as good as the first.

5) Get into the more hands-on parts of the hobby. Fill your own cartos, make easy DIY recipes if you can, etc. I hear you, thinking you'll go crazy with it. You'll be saving money, enjoying the hobby in ways besides purchasing, and I think the time involved will help discourage your habit down to a "healthy" level (haha, whatever that is).

overboard, what is that? I have rebuilding supplies at home and at work. Theres about 20 different mods and more batteries than I can count in my "junk" drawer. Emergency eco-c batt plugged into the USB port in the armrest in my commuter car so it charges when the car is running and always ready plus 2 spare Kanger T3s. 1 shelf in the closet for bought juice and another for my 100mg juice, fillers, and flavors(had to put doors on the shelves because my clothes always smelled sweet). No such thing as overboard lol.

In a word, "yes". I go overboard. Especially when it comes to DIY ejuice . .it's ridiculous. I have 3 years worth of nicotine liquid and I just bought more. Why? I don't know . .in case my friends want juice after the vape-o-pacolypse, I guess. Maybe it was really because I wanted some more flavors and I figured, "why not"? Anyway . . my name is Bosco and I am a DIY ejuice a-holic, lol.

I don't have the same problem when it come to gear, though. Thankfully. I am pretty happy with my ego twists, mini novas and kanger T2's . .and, of course, dozens of replacement heads.

These are some of my purchases since the beginning of February (glass bottles don't really count but this picture was for a different thread)

I also sold or traded 2 Cobras, a Zap, a Temon, a Zmax, an evic, an e-roll, a G22...gave away some other stuff in that period

I have an EA, a Mortar and a Did on the way that I can think of.

So no...definitely not overboard, lol, at least not for me.

I like gear for whatever I am into, so it's the same for everything. This is a good hobby for me, I can spend money and save money (10 bucks a day) at the same time.

Honestly, the worst money I spent was on prefilled cartos when I started. No resale on that or way to recoup.

My wife tends to think so BUT...I've bought over a grand in mods , juice and DIY supplies and I am still spending LESS than when I was a smoker. I smell good, look and feel better and have somehow turned this "habit" into a ritual of sorts or like some kind of hobby as my friends put it....my mailman and I are now on a first name basis. :toast:
