I do vape inside at work (but not where customers can see me) and in the houses and cars of nonsmoking friends and relatives with permission, but I haven't worked up the nerve to vape openly in nonsmoking public places. I have been known to sneak a quick vape in a public restroom of a nonsmoking place if it's too cold for me to want to go outside to vape, though. LOL

I use mine at work outside with the other smokers...thats ok cause thats where all my buddies are anyway. I started with a v2 battery and nobody even noticed, though when I upgraded to my ego I got a few stares and then eventually questions. Nearly everybody I talked to was amazed that I had different flavors!

Their only experience was with the gas station types....I told them it gets much better.

When I first got reading-glasses (right on schedule, at age 40), I was very "stealth" about using them. Only when absolutely necessary. And for sure, as rarely as possible in public. ;) When I first started vaping, I felt about the same way, ha!

Now, my only reservations regarding vaping in public have to do with the fact that I live in Amerika. If I lived in a free country, I would vape openly, with pride! But when Santa gets arrested for writing on the sidewalk with chalk... I dunno, so much...

You have some seriously sinister police over there.

Well one good thing about vaping in public... I think I may have a potential convert from cigarettes at work. She tried my Vamo last night with a USA Blend (tobaccoo flavor is sorta an all day vape for me mixing in others) and really liked it. Helped cause she couldn't sneak outside and smoke a cigarette so it took the shakes and edge off for her. She seems awfully interested in the vaping thing now.

Yeah, Condor... they are a piece of work *sigh* If I travel long distance now I either drive or will take the rail if I can. Probably just stick with driving, something about rolling along the highway in my Benz listening to Trip Hop that is just... divine. My next plane trip will come when I leave the country, one-way mind you or I may just opt for a freighter ship passage.

I work at the airport and an ecig is a necessity there, but other than another flight attendant I recruited, poor things haven't heard of it yet. But I always worry what TSA thinks I'm carrying. I quit carrying my VW because of the shape of it- it resembles another battery operated device that I don't want to be associated with and I have to work with these people!

I my cape every where to stop smoking cold turkey and its been working and just ordered my first big battery mod I def agree there is still a need for respecting your surroundings but there is also no problem in educating them about camping and how it's not real smoke. Like every thing it's about being respectful and using tactfulness.

Definitely in public, but never blatantly in places where people don't like it.
I like to stealth vape every once in a while though.
Blow out through my nose in the movie theater or in some corner in stores.
And every once in a while i leave some vapor in an empty glass in bars :D
(even though i vape outside with the smokers).

At Six Flags this summer, walking through security, they had us empty our pockets and they saw my KGO. They asked me what it was, and treated me like I had drugs, or a bomb. They called for back up and eventually they let me through, but I had to smoke it in the smoking section.

yeah crap dude, this was what i was worried about. Honestly aside from the e-cigs they sell at the mall and only because they look so similar. a mod is going to draw negative attention from cops/security. i imagine to the untrained eye. its just a tube of liquid weed or who knows what

maybe in few more years it will be a bit different. ill have to be careful when i get mine
