I vape everywhere...except in smoking areas. lol.
I was told one time by a startled waitress that "You can't smoke in here!" I told her that I wasn't smoking, I was vaping. I showed her my PV, (she had only seen the cloud of vapor around my head, not the alien looking device) and that was that. Other than that, I have had zero issues.

Lol finch, my doctors let me vape in waiting room, although I am a bit low key in the waiting room, I vape in front of my doctor in the room when he comes in to see me.. He loves it and 2 weeks ago he checked my lungs and they are clear...

I've read stories here about doctors that are requesting info about vapin from their patients ,so they can recommend it to their other smoking patients

I think a lot of vapors (myself included) try to still respect others and vape in areas where smoking is allowed. If I am at one of my favorite watering holes..I will bust out my pv and vape away. I would do the same at a nice restaraunt or in a movie theater. That's just me though.

Wait are you saying you openly vape in a movie theater or restaurant? From working in one of these that can cause troubles for the staff. The perception of the general public that you are surrounded by is that you are smoking. Hence other customers getting upset. For two in the movie theater I would think that might impact the experience of the other customers. Clouds of vape wafting between me and the screen might upset me. Not to mention that little light that keeps turning on and off.

I'd agree with Golfkahn... Last night was my first shift at work with my Provari and every single customer coming in asked about it.

They were used to seeing me with ecigs from V2 and my Inferno from Volcano, so they assumed it was similar but still had to ask because .. well... the Provari and other similar VV devices just kind of have that intriguing presence about them LOL

Yes I openly vape in both the theatre and restaurants.. When in the theatre I blow the vape torwards the floor.. When in restaurants it's about 50/50 floor/ around my table area...

I especially like vaping in non smoking areas so peole can realize that vaping is less intrusive if intrusive at all... And maybe they will mention it to their smoking friends

If it's not crowded, I sit in the back row, and not directly under the projector, either. If it is crowded, then I shield the light, and hold the vape until the *cloud* I breathe out is mostly colorless and invisible. The only comment I heard was "what is that smell? It smells freaking good." I smiled to myself and continued vaping my blueberry cheesecake.
:toast:
The general perception by the public is that you are not smoking because I can tell you from seeing and smelling others do it, there is no hiding the scent of a analog being smoked anywhere in a theater. I've never gotten any dirty looks. I have gotten a few envious looks from smokers, but no dirty ones.

I live in a small town, with many people who have no idea what it is that I am using. Most people are curious, some are just rude about it. What really surprised me is that in a small game shop, where my friends and I play D&D on the weekends, the owner is totally open to my boyfriend and I using them inside. He said that a good friend informed him about vaping and he thinks its great. I hope this is just the beginning of people opening up to it and I also try to educate anyone who is interested to try and share the love :)

I use mine all the time. The ZMax is a little large for stealth vaping though, so I had to take my twist and a t3 to see the Hobbit last Sunday. The biggest mistake I ever made was thinking I could "Ghost" hit the ZMax at 11W with my 1.7ohm AGA T at my grandmothers on Christmas, I ended up dashing outside coughing up plumes all the way lol.

I do, but I still exercise caution and judgment when using indoors. Vaping sometimes puts people from neighboring tables at restaurants, etc., on edge, because they're not sure if you're being so rude as to smoke...I don't mind looks or giving explanations, but sometimes I'd rather spare my tablemates nasty looks from others...exhaled vapor also smells like "something," I have a few flavors that are delicious but smell kind of bitter/musty/strange on exhale, so I avoid blowing it in people's faces. I often find myself going outdoors in places like airports, bars, etc., in order to use it.

At home, I'll relax indoors with it for as long as I want.
