do you have a "test" flavor...

When trying out a new vendor? Meaning will you try their strawberry or whatever and base the future of doing business with them on whether or not you like that one flavor?

I'm on a ry4 kick, I'm planning to use that as my test flavor when ordering from someone new.

No, I buy what looks appealing to me at that time. Hopefully, the vendor has a good description with some feedback from people. I buy a few bottles and try them, if I like them, I return for more.

RY4 has so many variances that you won't be able to count them all. Vaperite has VR4 which won an award last year.

RY4 tends to be my standard, after trying Vaporbomb's
and Vapor Renu's "re(4)nu". I ordered more from both.

I do have a test flavor Blueberry. It usually is blueberry muffin but I will try any BB flavor as my tester. I can tell if the vendors juices are usually sweet, not sweet enough(for my taste), perfumey or bitter all from a BB flavor. I dont like tobacco flavors I like fruity ones and the BB seems to work as a try it for me.

No, I think that it's a mistake to judge a juice manufacturer based on a single flavor. Some do certain things well and others poorly, and you might be missing out of good juice because they happen to fail at the flavor you use to test them with.

Of course, if you're only interested in that one flavor, then the test is fair.

I usually buy a handfull of samples from a vendor I want to try and if I like one or two I'll order a full bottle. Sometimes the 30 ml bottle doesn't taste like the sample and I need to steep it some.

very true, but i admire your courage... i've been disappointed so many times that when trying a vendor (based on recommends), i try to order samples of my favorite flavors to get a good comparison... but i will try to get a new (to me) flavor in...
