I have a Endura T18 but decided to use a Fuchai Gio Battery instead of the standard battery. I know the T18E tank is designed to operate at 14 watts standard but I need advise on what wattage I should us wit my new bigger and more controllable battery. It is adjustable with wattage, voltage, resistance and temp.

Any advise is welcome as I really have to give up the analog cigs!

I'm new to this, I vape M2L as this is how I smoke. I know that the higher ohm coil would be cooler but need advise on what to set my flash new battery at. Advise given was set at 10 watts to give a cooler vape but I have had to up it to 12 watts to get a good vape.

By the way thanks for answering so quick. Mike

Welcome to the forum. The best way to find out what wattage is best and you like the best. Is to start out low like you did and slowly move up the wattage a step at a time until you are satisfied with it. A tenth a watt at a time and back down if you get any hint of burnt taste. Otherwise as warm as you like it.

Wattage mode will give you a slightly finer range of adjustment. Start at the 14 you're used to or a little less even and turn it up a little if you want to try a warmer, stronger vape. If it's too hot for you or it seems like you're getting a burnt taste, turn it down.

All good choices to start with and use for a long time. You can use nautilus coils in the nautilus 2, interchangeable. And there is a .7 ohm resistance coil for the nautilus 2 that I assume can be used in the original naut and mini (find out for sure before you try... I'm not 100% sure on that).

The T series tanks aren’t the best match for mods with flat tops, like your fuchai. It restricts the airflow a bit. Same with Zelos. T tanks work really good with mods with slots on the top or air gaps. IStick 20 or 30, svdv2.0, Provari, etc.

I started at 10 watts and went all the way in small increments up to 14 wats but have settled on 13 watts as it's not to hot and the flavour comes through well. Thanks for your advise , now I have to find a better tank, was thinking Aspire Nautilus , or Aspire Nautilus Mini or 2
My experience with the nautilus2 is that it floods very easily, even if youre careful not to overfill. Gurgle and spit was not enjoyable for me. After that, i switched up to larger, sub ohm tanks. My happy place is my tfv12 king. .15ohms, 150w, and my favorite 6mg juice. I do also play around with a couple rda's just for something different when the mood strikes me. Hope this bit of info helps.

I am of the belief that you can put the 0.7 coil in the nautilus mini. I didn't care for the original nautilus although mine was a leaker, but I didn't like the draw enough (not immediate enough) to really pursue the source of the leaks. It's a pretty tank, but it vapes like a large tank as it is one....Draw less immediate. The Nautilus 2 was my quitting tank, and while I have moved on to other tanks that take that coil that I find to be superior, the N2 worked great for me as I was quitting. It has a few foibles, but I do recommend it as a MTL tank.

Best of luck,

Anna

Well if you also want to dip your toes into building. There is always the Kanger Toptank minis. Can be used well as MTL tank. Has a wide range of pre-made coils available from .5 ohm to 1.5 ohm. Comes with an rba that you can build if you get tired of the the pre-made coils.

Rather inexpensive tank and versatile.

The T18 got me off cigs. Very much a similar draw and can't be beat with a good tobacco juice. TriBeCa for one, sunset all day vape for another. Important to get the right juice, but that is a personal decision.
I still love the smell of tobacco when I have not vaped recently. Take a draw of your ecig and the desire goes away, if you have the right setup.
I have moved on, but still have my T18 for travels to keep the cigs away.
The advantage of vaping is that you can vary flavor and devices. A cig is a cig, same every time. Take that advantage and use it to your benefit.
I can also endorse the Kanger top tank mentioned above. Let's you experiment with DTL or go back to MTL. I have tried DTL but smoked so long I just stick with MTL. Your result may vary.
Good luck.
