I have tried lot's of blends but my favorite is all VG.
I suppose it depends somewhat on where you are getting the juice from and if the supplier
has the flavor you want..

I am pretty hooked on the vaperite.com organic vanilla and butterscotch flavors myself.
I find they produce plenty of vapor and don't see the need for PG.

I also have this feeling that VG might be a better choice healthwise (even though I have no
evidence to support this).

Just wondering how others feel about this?

...my first juice was all PG...way to harsh and not a lot of vapor...went to an 80PG/20VG and it tamed the harsh and upped the vapor and I was happy...got some 85%VG and loved it but it is hard to load into a carto without a syringe and it gave me a "froggy" throat...I am now vaping a 60%VG juice and it is da bomb for me...no froggy throat, loads/wicks easily into a carto and all that lovely vapor...we have a winnnnnaahhhhh............

it all depends on what time of day it is... first thing in the morning i like that heavy kick in the throat and warm hit in the lungs....i go with a higher PG level at that time....my all day vape is usually a 50/50 mix..lots of th and plenty of vapor

at the end of the night i go back to the higher pg level.

More than 50% PG and I can't vape it more than 1 fill without ending up with an itchy irritated throat and mouth. I suspect I have a sensitivity to it.

I tend to prefer 100% VG juice, but it really plays havoc on my hardware. My sweet spot tends to be a mix of 70% or 80% VG to 20-30% PG. Especially if it's some sort of fruity flavor - the PG kicks up the sweetness just a touch.

I don't think any flavoring, and that's really what your talking about was intended to be inhaled as vapor. They were made to be ingested.

I think you need the vape the juice you like. There have been more studies done with PG and inhalation. Not so much with VG. VG is heavier, denser. I can't vape high VG, I feel like I have a weight on my chest. Some people find PG irritating. Vape whichever one you like.

I don't think because you throw in the word 'organic' or 'vegetable' it means one is healthier than the other.

I use 100% VG because, for me, it's all about the lung hit. That heavy feeling in your chest as you inhale. I prefer minimal throat hit.
I think 100% VG does take a toll on hardware but this can be reduced somewhat with judicious use of distilled water. Also, even if I go through twice as many atties/cartos it still works out cheaper than smoking.

One particular juice, or the only juice that I've vaped for over a month now is 70/30 PG/VG. Works well in my carto, gives me good TH and vaper. I'm a happy camper with this juice.

With that said, when I DIY and go with a blend of 70/30 PG/VG, I get a harsh TH. Like I'm inhaling fiberglass or something. I cut it to 60/40 and I'm happy again. Not sure how it will act in my carto though and have yet to create a flavor that I want to use a carto for.

I've only seen a clogging issue when using the all VG in a dual coil cartomizer ( polyfill ) with my ego.
The VG works fine in everything else I use.. My new V-mod cartos are just fine and I have been vaping really heavy
on them.. I prefer the polyfill vs the hybrid because it seems "smoother"... more of a TH with the hybrid.

Vaperite is closed till Jan 2nd and I need juice now!! who sells a good VG vanilla?

I have no wicking problems with 100% VG in cartos (though I don't always prefer it - depends on the flavor). I believe that's because I use the "Taryn spin" method to fill. I really hate syringes and don't think they do as good a job. I drip, spin, drip, spin through as many cycles as it takes (3-4) to really pack and distribute the juice. It doesn't take much time (I use the Leafor Lanyard), really does a good job, and after the initial spin I just drip now and then to keep it wet. Especially with the mega cartos and dual coils I really hope folks don't forget that trick - it's an awfully good one and seems to resolve a lot of the difficulties that new carto users encounter.

I use 50/50 mix for the consistency/viscosity. The VG gives me "froggy throat" also. In addition, the PG is better for flavor with some TH, and VG for vapor and to lower TH (vs 100% PG).

I think the VG is a bit harder on my lungs (after 30 years of smoking, that one last cilia in my lungs may not clear it out as well).
