im still new to e-cigs and all but i find that if i inhale the vapor then i get almost no vapor when i exhale... and i really like blowing smoke rings and such so its kinda disappointing... thus lately i've been puffing my e-cig like a cigar (all day long lol) i find that if i'm constantly vaping then i don't crave a cig... now back to the title... do you puff or inhale? haha jw :)

PS: I cough like a ....* when i inhale... it's a ton harsher then a cig lol is that normal and you just gotta get used to it?

I guess I inhale but then it seems I have more control of the vapor---not that is what I do it for.
When I puff it seems it comes out all at once unless I put forth some effort.

If you're strickly on PG, you might want to mix some VG into it because it increases the vapor. WANT A LOT A VAPOR, add some alcohol.

wait wait wait.... i can put ALCOHOL into it that sounds fun ;) haha but do you mean like vodka or like rubbing alcohol? (i'm going to try this today)

You do not mention what device you are using or how long you take a draw from your device.

You cannot argue that the analog cigarette is the perfect medium to provide nicotine and thousands of poisonous chemical to users. Tobacco processors put in chemicals that reduce throat discomfort. The analog works the same every time, but not necessarily so with e-cigs.

All that said, you either adjust to the effects of vaper or you go on to something else. Vaper is not smoke and is not as thick and rich as you would expect. There are devices on the market that do produce very good vapor (can blow smoke rings) and throat hit (more like an analog).

Lastly, vapor is absorbed in the respiratory tract and less comes out that goes in. With the reight device and e-liquids, you can come close to the experience you are looking for.

Don't use rubbing alcohol! I use Pure Grain Alchol (PGA), which is Everclear, but any alcohol would work. If you want smoke grab some glycerin from the cake decorating department in a hobby store mix this with alcohol to thin it down and you will have plenty of vapor. I cut all my juice 50% with the mixture.

i mentioned in a later post that im using a 510 (Joye 510 to be specific ) and i usally take 3-5sec pulls... i realize that i'm using a mini thus using a larger pv would probablly produce more vapor but i enjoy that "cig feel" since its roughly the same size... i'm definatly trying to adjust to vaping b/c i want to try to live as long as possible :p haha... would you be able to recommend a pv model though would produce more vapor? i keep hearing about the "screwdriver" i googled it but um go figure i got a ton of real screwdrivers for sale  haha

Honestly, when folks ask me for a recommendation, I recommend a high-voltage device for the excellent vapor production and throat hit. High voltage vaping (HVV) is vaping at 5+ volts versus the 3.7 volt battery you use on your 510. If you are interested in a HVV device, I can recommend the Super-T (with 6v extension sleeve), AdapteveR (wth 6v extension sleeve) or the Prodigy from PureSmoker.

If you want to vape at 3.7 volts for long periods of time between battery changes, I would recommend the same devices listed above and include the Screwdriver. You might consider a device that operates at various voltages rather than one that is locked into one voltage.

puffing is a waste of juice i'd say

I remember reading somewhere on here that some of the nicotine is actually absorb in your mouth. I don't remember where I read it and I can't say for sure if it's true or not. So I can't swear this is true, just something to research maybe.

As for getting good vapor. I vape using a 901 and a 510. I have a passthru that gives a ton of vapor for my 901 while the regualr batteries do so-so. My 510 gives even more vapor just using the the regular batteries. I mix most of my own juices. I have found that using more VG than PG makes a lot more vapor. I don't use any alcohol unless it's already in the flavoring. Lately I have been using a 25% PG/75% VG mix and the vapor is great. I wouldn't use PG at all except I can't stand the way straight VG leavies a film on my teeth and it's nasty feelling. I am in the process of getting a battery mod made for my 510 and I'm sure that the vapor will increase even more.

ETA: I draw the vapor into my mouth then inhale. It is to harsh on my throat to direct inhale.

idk vaping alcohol just sounds kewl haha im HAFTA give it a try now that i know i can do it lol

I made a really good Turkish Blend with Tequila that really was good. Didn't get any buzz from the alcohol, just the flavor of it.

Also, if anyone has heart problems, vaping alcohol can increase your BP and your heart rate.
