Oh man, I can't believe this. As I'm reading these posts I tried the different methods and have to warn people about just jamming your thumb in the hole. Was getting unexpected results so I decided I needed a little change and did what you are supposed to do. I blew through the tip.

What I didn't expect was that juice would spray out of the tip all over the place... on my desk, my hand, my Reo, even splattered my shirt! I cleaned up as best I could but I just know that when I go in the house my kids are going to ask what is all over my shirt.

Ya just won't quit will ya!!

I gently and slowly and yet firmly apply pressure a few times with my thumb while my hand is wrapped snugly around it, till the base of the top is getting juicy then i quickly but gently put the tip in my mouth and suck...er..inhale...

I like to get my thumb right up in there. Don't jam it, that's a rookie move. Nice, steady, even pressure until it yields just enough. Then hold until it squirts just a little. Don't want a flood, just a sweet coating of that juice. Of course, I have my pinky up underneath providing the upward pressure. The thumb alone wouldn't get the job done.
