Do you still have a SHTF secret stash?

Don't be silly. That's TEOTWAWKI ;)

Aw, man. I had just deciphered SHTF, and you toss this out there. Can't figure it out, can't let it go, and I got s**t to do today. Somebody help a sister out?

Back on topic, I haven't touched a cig since my first vape 2+ years ago. I still have 4 RYOs from the bad old days in an Altoids tin in a box in my closet, but I don't think that has anything to do with smoking. That box is also full of old computer parts, miles of useless cords and cables, old manuals and warranty cards and probably every cell phone I've had since about 1997. I think my issue is less about smoking and more about hoarding. :)

Good song! I miss the 90s :(

I turn on the radio now and here songs about swaggers and what not.. oye
"Good" is highly subjective! I'm not a fan of "pop" music, but always love when any song or lyric can be used as a response in a conversation lol! Check out SiriusXM, there's literally a minimum of 2 channels for everyone! If you're not into paying, check out pandora. I have both as apps on my phone and sync my phone to my car radio! Never hear any BS! But none of this has anything to do with e-cigarettes or stashing tobacco, so tangent over...
Ok, one more tangent... Unless you know Butters real name you can't use him as your avatar LMFAO!!!

I started vaping on December 24, 2007.

I was cleaning my storage room a couple of weeks ago and came across my tubes and rolling machine. I haven't had a cigarette in almost 5 years. You would think that I could easily toss these things into the trash, but I just can't. Even though I will never go back to cigarettes, I can't bring myself to get rid of this stuff. However, on the plus side, I have no loose tobacco :).

I have six unopened packs of American Spirits in the cupboard (because I had no intention of quitting when I started vaping). I know I'll toss them or give them away eventually, but right now all I can think is "there's $36 dollars worth of vaping stuff just sitting there in those cigarettes!" drives me a little nuts. I definitely plan to stockpile some nicotine in my freezer like others here soon since I have Doomsday Prepper aspirations.

I just KNOW that if I did have any tobacco products around, i would feel the urge to use them...so nope, I don't keep any in the house. I've already gone back to the Dark Side once, and one more year on analogs was enough for me (possibly one too many, imho). I find that unless they're all gone and out of sight, they'll never be out of mind.

I stashed all my smoking supplies in a box. I moved about 3 months after I started vaping and threw it all out when I moved. I can't stand having junk lying around that doesn't get used. I had a 1/2 a pack left when I started vaping. I ended up giving them away about 3 weeks later because I knew I was done with them.

Actually we need to add that term to the underline term glossary of acronyms.

I have just such a stash, and recently documented on another thread that I have moved documents from my fire safe to protect and preserve my zombie apocalypse stash (or any other SHTF event).

EDIT: My stash for SHTF is not analog-based. The thought of smoking does not occur to me. I have my SHTF stash of juice, emergency coils, extra batts and four clearos so that it cannot come to the need to smoke. I also have a generator in the event of power issues.

I plan on putting together a SHTF vaping stash... extra batts, attys, juice... that stuff is relatively easy and inexpensive to stock over time. But what if you can't charge your batts?

Well, I'm also planning on getting a Solar Powered USB Charger to use with my USB charging supplies. With enough spare batteries, these things should produce enough mahs in a day to replace my usage at least, then I can rotate supplies.

This also makes it so I can more easily go camping, fishing, etc.

My SHTF stash will probably end up being:

4 eGo Twist 1000mah Batteries
2 18650 2200mah Batteries
1 VV Tube Mod (18650 Compatible)
6 ViVi Nova Rebuildables
20 1.8ohm ViVi Nova Long-Wick Attys
20 2.4ohm ViVi Nova Long-Wick Attys
20 2.8ohm ViVi Nova Long-Wick Attys
2 Solar USB Charge Stations
2 eGo USB Chargers
1 18650 USB Charger
10 3.0ohm Direct Drip Attys
6 Texas Tuff Tanks PRO3
40 Pre-Punched 35mm 3.0ohm Boge Carts (for Tuff PRO3)
1L of Various Pre-Mixed Juices
1L of 100mg/mL Nic Juice
5L of 70/30 PG/VG Liquid
Assorted Flavor Material

This is enough, by my estimates, to last me and my SO for one year without supply or electricity, and will cost approximately $600-$700 to put together... or about 3 months worth of analogs. I've been saving a ton of money since I switched to vaping, and I often measure how much it costs to buy vaping supplies in "days of analogs". This is ~400 days of vaping for the cost of ~100 days of analogs, and it includes lots of backup supplies.

If you really want a SHTF supply, there's no reason for it to be analogs. They are still more expensive to stock up on, and still more difficult to store for a SHTF scenario.
