They can be cleaned. But they never taste the same to me. Some people just soak them in grain alcohol for a while, the rinse. Some people dry burn. Do a YouTube search for dry burn stardust clearomizer. Should bring up a few videos. But basically you take the little cover off of the wicks/coils with some tweezers. Attach it to a battery and pulse current to the coils until they are glowing orange. If you are using regular x2's, do it once it has lost some charge. If you have a spinner, turn the voltage as low as it will go. This will help keep you from burning the wicks and/or popping the coil. Oh yeah, do this when you have an empty clearo.

not so far; i do have one coil head that came apart while trying to clean and i guess that one will have to get tossed because with my old eyes and clumsy fingers i cant fit that thing back together again; cant get the white grommet back up the shank by itself, let alone with two ends of the coil wire positioned 1side inner and the other side outer, not to mention rewrapping the coil onto a new wick. If I could only make myself 1 foot tall for half an hour I could do it I bet

I'm with one of the previous poster. You can clean, rinse, soak and dry burn but (to me) they are never quite the same again. I used to toss them when I would get a 'harsh' taste. I have since gone to bottom coils. I love the T3's and when they get that harsh taste, I just toss the old (replaceable) coil in the trash and put in a new one. I'm gonna try the new top clearos SI had just gotten in that has the replaceable top coil. For me, replaceable coils are the only way to go. They are so much cheaper replacing the coils at around 2.99 and they last for weeks. I'm not one to be messing with things so I use them up and toss em. That simple. :p

aint no question of tossing my steel and glass protank; the atomiser - yes; i'll buy atomosers by the pack and try soaking them when they get old but they will probably get tossed (or more likely just collected in a pan cause i probably wont give up fiddling with trying to recoil and rewick)

but i do got a couple ce4 types i never use; i wil probably end up breaking the plastic to see if i can get any use out of the wicks; i doubt i will have any use for the top coil atomisers. The black nipple tips are worth keeping; and the white/offwhite silicone ring cap thingy.

Then theres the bottom piece with the 510male threading.... hmmm; what can i use that for. naa. not worth keeping
