I transfer all my juices to glass bottles as soon as I receive them. That is, if they are not already in glass bottles from the vendor.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not but it gives me peace of mind. I read the same thread that you are probably referring to. It touched on the concept that the plastic might leach onto the juice in some cases. The thought of vaping melted plastic doesn't appeal to me and I decided that it's better to be safe than sorry.

I use amber tinted bottles but only because that was all the vendor had in stock at the time. I really wanted clear bottles and I might switch to those soon.

I don't know if it was necessary or not but I'm happy with my decision to use glass bottles for all my juices.

Honestly I like the look of a glass bottle, but don't find them easy to work with. I don't think it makes a difference. If you're worried about light , stick them in a closet or drawer (I have a vape tackle box). Love the ease of a squeeze bottle. When I shake a glass bottle I'm afraid of slipping lol. Lots of electronic equipment around and this thing would do some damage if it slipped out of my hands.

Some juices just come in dark blue glass bottles (ahlusion is one of them). When the juice is almost gone it becomes a hassle to get it out. I vape it usually within a couple of months anyways. For long term storage maybe.

I highly doubt your loss of flavor is due to your juice being in plastic bottles. But if that concerns you then by all means, transfer your juice to glass as soon as you receive it and see if it makes a difference for you.

I only transfer vendor juice that comes in plastic bottles to glass bottles if I've purchased a large amt of juice that I know I won't be using in the near future. I do so because of the leaching possibility.

I don't worry about using LDPE plastic myself. My DIY liquids are made in 5ml, 10ml and 30ml batches, so don't last long enough that I'd worry about putting them in glass.

Wizard Labs is a source for glass bottles, 30ml, 60ml and 120ml, they have amber and colbalt blue. I keep my nicotine solution in several of their 30ml amber bottles in the freezer to pereserve them until used one at a time.

Halo puts there liquids in 30ml colbalt blue glass with a glass dropper top (like what Wizard Labs sells). When empty I clean and reuse them. Could do the same with my Wizard Labs 8ml glass DIY flavor bottles as they empty (I also have grass dropper tops for them).
