vaping is too enjoyable and comforting that I can stay in my room for 2 hours scrolling my phone and not go out.Part of my problem is that I am a closet vaper,so I am planning to use nicotine gum when I am out with my family as I am shy to let them see i vape and also they always brainwashed me to quit vaping, that’s why I Vape alone in my room.Today is my first day trying out nicotine gum,4mg and I can sit with my family even though I don’t talk(that’s another story cause of my MI) but at least I am presence.Anyway, does any of you vapers use smokeless tobacco/nicotinic product?

Nope. I don't use any tobacco products, smokeless or otherwise. I never cared what anyone else thinks about me or what I do, so I never needed to try to hide anything. I also don't regularly go to anywhere that vaping is prohibited (minus retail stores obviously) so a nicotine alternative isn't needed with my lifestyle.

Other than vaping I haven't smoked or used any other tobacco product since Spring of 2010. I never used Snus, Chewing tobacco, or any other nicotine product other than cigarettes. I'd be lost for a while without my vape, though. When I quit smoking cold turkey for a few years in the mid 70's I never stopped wanting a smoke, especially when things were hectic at work.

When I vape nic, it's 1.5 mg/ml at around 11 watts. I don't need to worry about not having any when I can't vape for a while :)
Is that mtl or DL?
I DL 1.5mg and mtl 2.5mg to 3mg. Never have any pangs for nic if I cant vape for a while but really enjoy the sensation when I do pick up the vape after a long break.

I use snus only NO vaping at work or even over lunch. I don't want anyone finding out for reals.

I can go up to 12 hours and be okay, if it's busy.

I prefer vaping but I find snus to be awesome at work I don't have time to vape and it is CHOCK full of minor alkaloids, etc.

I don't vape outside my house or car, and am sort of reconsidering my car.:

IDK.

Anna

Sometimes coworkers ask me if I vape when I say I quit .I said I did, while I was quitting (I only mentally say, I am still quitting every damn day.)

When I was hospitalized for depression a few years back, they allowed smoking, outdoors on smoke breaks. They would not allow vaping because some people had used other drugs than nicotine. I went back to smoking then, but gladly picked up my vape once I was discharged.

DL Jebbn. Vaping two setups right now, a DoggyStyle and a Aqua V2.

Yup, I also really appreciate those first few drags after taking a break for a bit, which happens regularly when I'm at work. Been off since Tuesday due to the coronavirus so I'm vaping more now. The Doggy is my ADV, but I broke out the Aqua on Wednesday and am really enjoying it again :)

I do since I'm struggling a little bit with the coughing vaping sometimes give me. I found out that lowering the nicotine level and doing RDL or DL help with it. Im using 3mg juice at 10 watts RDL. Just not enough to eliminate the cravings tho.

The coughing was the reason my last couple of tries at vaping weren't successful. Like 10 or so years ago.

Still hoping I will be able to just vape and not use nicotine patches.

does it take care of your craving or just make it tolerable?

I usually end up over medicating, but it gives me something to do.

Truth is, I probably don’t need to have a constant supply of nicotine.

It’s more habit than anything else, these days.

It’s not as enjoyable as vaping, so it’s tough to say if it takes care of cravings.

If you are just off of cigarettes, snus would probably do a better job of handling cravings, due to the alkaloids, as Anna has already mentioned.
