I'm home all day and vape the same way I smoked... constantly!.... that's what put me in the hospital with an oxygen saturation of 60 (95 or above is normal.) vaping, I actually increase my oxygen intake... and now saturation is above normal. No, I don't have COPD... my lungs were just always full of smoke.. how could any oxygen get through it?

My first weekend with the my juices. Yes I am certainly vaping more that I smoked. I can vape inside the house without driving my wife into a breathing problem. I did it almost through an entire movie last night (BluRay). If I could have done that with my cigars I would not have been able to breath this morning. :D

I tend to hit it more often then I smoked cigarettes, but I have not done a hit to hit comparison. I'd guess I take as many hits off my ecig that I did off analogs in a given day. What I mean is that when you light an analog most people don't just hit it once and put it out. So you hit your ecig and then hit it again in 5 minutes as apposed to hitting an analog multiple times in one sitting. I would be it all averages out.

I actually did a comparison the other day based on my puff counter and the internet research saying the average analog is 25 puffs. I (that day) actually vaped the average I smoked of about 17 cigs. But, like you said I find myself taking 2-3 hits and setting it down for a couple minutes depending on what I'm doing. I need to do a comparison on my day off when I'm just sitting and watching tv and never set it down. :)

I definitely vape less than I smoked. I was a chain smoker. I would have a cig between my fingers, or hanging out of my mouth while on the computer. I have a rather large mechanical vape. It is not as convenient as a cig. Therefore, my nicotine addiction has been lessoned, due to inconvenience. I also have gradually lowered my nic mg.

I absolutely feel like I spend more time vaping than I did smoking. In fact all I have done for the past 3 days is vape, read about vaping, look in the shops.. I seem to not have had the energy to do much of anything else. Pretty sure that I'm going through some detox. My kit came the 11th and I've only slipped up once about 5 days ago.

I hear you SouthernBliss! I'm exactly where you are, plus one week out from major surgery! Can't sleep because of pain meds and pain so I vape vape vape....was on here til 5 this morning, all day today, and here I still am!! I think the detox is messing me up too....but....haven't had a smoke in 4 days and have no desire to, so that's the good news! Hang in there! We're all in this together!

I used to be able to go hrs. between cigs but now I have this yummy choclate mint vape in frront of me and I can't leave it alone! It's like a warm andes mint melting in my mouth. I'm at 18 mg. nic and get no shakes or other negative side effects and am 4 days analog free!! Maybe if I had more of a tobacco flavor I'd hit it less, but damn it's good!! How about you?? Happy Sunday!!!! :vapor:

Heh. Yes. Much more.

On the other hand, the nicotine appears to be absorbed more slowly and in smaller quantities than cigs provide. Cigs can get nicotine to the brain literally in seconds (about 7 is the average number I've seen). Smokers get used to having X level of nicotine in the blood stream so I suspect we all tend to vape more than we smoked because we're trying to match that level.

Also... it is tasty eh? :)

I remember when I first found this Cinnamon Blueberry Crumble liquid by FlavorZ by Joe. I believe what one says on dah Intertubes is "OMG". :)

Liked to wrecked my taste buds. Had "vaper's tongue" for about a week. But I do love blueberries and CBC was so good.

i just started vaping and i must admit that it helped me save alot on money. but i still do smoke though

I smoked for about a month after I started vaping. It dropped dramatically from the first day but after that, I just slowed down a little more each week. Gradually lost interest in cigarettes.

Some people are lucky and stop smoking the day they start vaping. Others, it takes a while. With me, long as the smoking was going down, I didn't worry about it.
