I miss smoking but...vaping is getting me through the tough times, no problem. If I had to quit vaping today, I would go back to smoking. Vapong is great but it ain't smoking.

On the other hand, I hate doctors, hospitals and being sick so vaping seems like the better activity and, as I said, vaping is keeping me from smoking.

I quit smoking on May 18th of this year.

I smoked for my whole life (2 packs a day) and I have been without a cigarette now for 2 1/2 years....... I can honestly say that I DO NOT miss smoking and it is probably because I love vaping more than I loved to smoke! I feel better and the variety of flavors and hardware is just amazing!!

In the beginning I did not know if I would be able to do it because I tried the gums and the patches etc., etc........ but that was the problem - I loved to smoke and I never loved to chew gum so I needed to find something that I could love at least as much as smoking......enter e-cigs!! the rest as they say is HISTORY..... thank goodness.

Same boat here with the 2 packs a day. I think about it once in a while, but ultimately I am so glad I quit. Vaping made it super easy. I quit several times over the years. A couple of those times for over a year.

Keep with it!

Like an earlier poster said "I miss the simplicity of it" and that is about it. I used to be able to take a cig out to do minor yard work and it is easier having that hanging between your fingers than a PV filling your whole hand. Otherwise, I never ever planned to quit smoking (only to try vaping also) but it just because easy to do because I love the gobs of "smoke" you can blow out with vaping, and the flavors and fooling around with the stuff and wondering what to buy next. Smoking never had that benefit of all the new stuff, juices in the mail and so on. Like Christmas a couple times a month! lol

I do miss analogs occasionally. I would say that happens most at the bars, lol. Also, I was passing a county jail road work crew today, one of the fellas signaled to me they needed a smoke. I know their pain, I used to be that guy on the county road crew flagging people down for smokes. Was sad I couldn't toss them a few.

But I'm really digging the vape life. VERY much! It's not just a way to stop smoking anymore, it's becoming a hobby. Such functional gadgets! Vape on my friends!!!

It took me about 2-3 months to fully stop smoking. I stopped buying cigarettes after the first month or two, but I had a lot of occasions in the beginning period where I would bum or take shorts or random hits from someone. It really only took the end of the first month, when I got a varivolt PV and liquids that I liked, that I didn't want to smoke, but I would be a bum out of random impulse. I was also in a transitional rehab at that point in time, so I was around a lot of smokers constantly. That may have had a lot to do with the continuation of trying doing to do something that I really didn't want to do.

Natural flavors give me a more aromatic feel, so it's more on par with tobacco flavor, and the same level nicotine with them is more noticeable in my throat and lungs. I don't exclusively use natural flavorings, but they're prime time...

I quit smoking in August. I don't miss it but every now and then, out of the blue I will get a strong urge for a cigarette. But I like vaping so much more. I went to a friends house the other day (they smoke) I could smell the cigarette smoke outside the door. I had never noticed it before. So for good or bad...Lol. My smell is returning.

No, not in the slightest. Next will be a year for me without one, not even the tiniest little puff. The thought of having to smoke again makes me nauseous even thinking about it.

I was given some juices a few weeks ago by a friend who didnt like them. One of them was a tobacco flavored juice (Ive been vaping fruit and dessert flavors for the entire year) and vaping it made me gag. I couldnt even finish the tank off. It wasnt because it was a bad juice either, it was one of the closest tobacco flavors I've ever tried. I just cant abide the taste any more.

I miss the simplicity and cool factor of smoking. Nothings easier than pulling one out and firing it up. Every time i lit up a boge i couldn't help but feel like a bamf. If they didn't reek, stain fingers and teeth, and kill you I'd have one in my mouth 24/7. That being said i enjoy vaping alot and haven't regretted my decision once.

I think rocking a bad ... PV makes you look more like a BAMF..

Vaping doesnt have to be any more complicated to be fun or cool. Ive pretty much got this down to a science.Im using a Provari with an 18650 battery (lasts 12 hours) and a 3 ohm pre-punched Smoktech carto in a Phiniac tank. I just fill it in the morning and go. I also take a spare battery, carto and juice with me but it couldnt be any simpler.

Sometimes i just sit there and stare at my hercules on an ehpro ea (i know attack of the clones) and think "now that is one badass tool of mass vaporization."

When i smoked i smoked Reds, Lucky's and Turkish Delights and their robust flavors were delicious. I tried many different tobacco flavors when i first started out and there wasn't one that wasn't disgusting. Now i stick to the deserts and fruits and mints, which is suprising considering I abhorred menthol analogs.

No going back now though. They all taste like ...
