Does Anyone Else Drill Out CE2 Side Holes?

No. I had a busy night. I just sold my old truck to a guy from Ga and then it was play time for the next several hours vapping my head off with Sapphires and Visions and E2 conversion kits. My nic overdose is much better today. lol
If I get a chance tonight I'll pop a couple holes in my E2 and see how it goes.

Anywho... Yup I did try this the other day. To be honest I didn't notice a huge difference in Flavor. In all honesty though it could be just my aging E2 that I tried this on. Also, I like a little tighter draw and this made it a little to soft/open for me. Just got some new 2.4-2.6's in that I might try this mod on.

So, are these the side holes just above the 510 threads? If so, how do you avoid stripping the threads? Do you drill on an angle?

Opening up the holes Does make for an easier draw. And some like that and others not so much. But with all things e-Cig mod-wise, just have to try it and see what works best.
I haven't had any issues with the enlarged holes interfering with the threads on the 30 or 40 CE2's I have drilled out. I like to screw the freshly drilled CE2 into a dead battery I have just to check but haven't had any issues yet.
Not say'n that there couldn't be a problem so use some caution screwing in a drilled out CE2 into your PV.
No real need to drill at an angle. I just put the drill on the hole and give the drill motor some slow turns to start it and once it's started zing the drill up to speed until I break thru.
OK zoiD. Now I gotta give this a try ..... both on my CE-2s and my dual coil units. And here I thought I had noting to do on a Monday night.
