Does anyone else hate filterkeys?

Maybe i am the only lout still using xp< but damn is this "feature" annoying>

now i have to reboot just to turn it off>

i can"t recall how many thimes this has happened over the years>>> maybe a dozen or so>>> so only once every few months but damn how annoying!

Yes, that turns filterkeys off alright, but for some reason using the 8 second shift key activation also causes caps lock to become stuck on, and there's no checkbox for that. I have never understood this, and it always causes me to reboot.

The upside: this won't happen again until I reinstall windows, as I have disabled the appropriate accesibility option.

I have a feeling, however, that this hasn't been my last bout with filterkeys... it always seems to strikes when I least expect: whenever I stop to think just as I am about to type an uppercase letter when I haven't yet done so since last reinstalling XP.

The filterkeys got turned on one time when my cat sat on my laptop. It took me forever to figure out how to turn it off.
