i think we may be getting offtopic a little here =P now i used to smoke menthol ciggs, im not "treating" myself with menthol cigs as that wouldnt be a treat lol i hate them now iv tried having one, yuck haha.

im talking like cigars, djarums or hooka (altho its been years sence iv had hooka (sheesha) =P )

my question wasn't is this okay, but rather if anyone else did it. there are plenty of people in the world that have never been a regular smokes that will have social cigars.

i was just curious as to given the situation we are all in being ex smokers does anyone else feel comfortable doing this and does do it.

I haven't done anything but vape over these first two months since I quit cigarette, but I would be completely comfortable having a cigar on occasion. It's not something I did/do often at all, but when the situation does come up I have every intention of indulging.

Only been a little over a month but, my "treat" to myself was more stuff from one of my local vape stores. I think that'll be my future treats as well.

I had to take my quit banner down, since anything that even remotely looked like a milestone I used as an excuse to buy myself a present.

To me it doesnt. I no longer find the taste of burning tobacco of any kind pleasant. Especially not when there are so many awesome flavors out there to choose from with my e-cigs.

If youre still "enjoying" a cigar every now and then your still a smoker, albeit an occasional one.The danger their is that one can turn into two and so on and so forth until youre smoking a cigar a day or more.

Id rather not take that chance personally as Im all or nothing kind of guy. If you havent already noticed my "quit" banner doesnt have a spot to justify smoking an occasional cigar or cigarette in it. :)

We have two very different point of views, which is fine im not gonna argue with you lol I knew there would be people who felt that way.

i've smoked half of 1 cigarette since i started vaping and it tasted like ...

Agreed! I'm one of those lucky vapors for whom the switch completely disenchanted them with cigarettes. I tried one a few weeks after getting a mod just to see if there was any appeal and it was a revolting experience. I couldn't stand the smell, the taste or even the feeling of the smoke on my hands.

In less than a week I will have been smoke free for 3 years, (from a 31 year PAD habit) thanks to e-cigs.

I treated myself by ordering:
1 Sigelei 19 Copper
1 Sigelei 19b two-tone with Nzonic Clone Top Cap
1 Sigelei 8w "Caravella Clone" - 18350
and reordered DIY supplies for a 750ml batch of my own "fruit spiked cinnamon red-hawtz".

Smoking is bad, mkay?

If you want to treat yourself, buy a new mod or topper or take a trip to the spa. Get a pedi-mani or a budgeted trip to bass-pro shop or harbor freight. But don't treat yourself to a visit to the prison that you have already been freed from... the door might close and lock behind you when you walk in...

I "treat" myself with a regular cig every night. I don't even think about analogs during the day, but I love that one before bed. For that reason, I don't have a banner, but it's worked for over 7 months now, so I'm pretty confident I'm a vaper & it will remain a "treat".

I'm so weak willed, "treating" myself is how I fell back into smoking the first time I quit. I lasted 6 months and it only took 3 days to undo it all. If you can do it, I say go for it! I Just sold off my humidor, so many great cigars......oh the pain! At least it helped finance some new vape gear. It was treating myself to a victory cigar that did it too. In my weak willed, fetid, little brain, I rationalized. Hey i can survive a cigar why not a cigarette? It only took me 5 more years to quit again. The social interaction and atmosphere, I think in the end is harder to give up than the actual smoking.
