Does ANYONE have a working 510 adapter for the V2?

I am just curious, I think i am getting really frustrated now....510 adapter #1 just falls apart......510 adapter #2 replacement i just got today doesn't work..I tap the center post UP and DOWN and nothing!

Any advice before i pull what hair i have left out?

Did you do the tongue test? Did you follow Steve's troubleshooting guide in his sub forum?

Yep sure did. My 801 works no problem, Once i screw on the 510 adapter nothing. I did the tongue test WITH the adapter on also and nothing. I tapped the center post UP and nothing and i tapped the center post DOWN and nothing...

Did you push the switch housing up a 1/4" out of the tube before screwing on the adapter?

Try this. Take the adapter off and do the tongue test with the exposed post on the switch housing. Push down on the housing while your doing it so you make good contact with the batteries.

IF your using a older 510 atomizer the center post tends to get pushed up, so very little try pulling down the center post on the atty. use something to just slightly work down the center post of the atty. 510 attys that have been used on and off tend to push the center post up.

I wouldnt mess with the adapter center post...the atty post I would nudge down just a lil. Then you should be good.

GrimmGreen review he had the same problem with his "older" 510 attys.

I WANT to STRESS that you just want to slightly work the post down. Then it should make contact with the adapter.

My 510 Adapter I got as a replacement worked wonderful without any adjustments at all. I just put the normal light coat of noalox on the threads before I screwed it onto my V2 and she fired right up with my Atty. And it's been pure bliss. Now my 810 adapter I've only been able to get it to work with the DSE801/SLB atty's that puresmoker sells, the RN4072 atty's won't screw on enough to make contact.

Do the atty post adjustmeent and all should work Ive had to do the same with some myself If you still dont have it up n runnin after that, or have trouble with it, PM me and Ill try n run ya thru it If that doesnt work, may wanna contact Casey or Steve...
