Does anyone have input about the LM350

Hi everyone, I am thinking about getting some LM350 chips and was wondering if anyone has used them, also if they are easy to use in a mod. Any diagrams or pics would be help full for me. Along with how they have been performing for you.

Well if you haven't bought them yet, get these instead. Just an all around better IC.

I wouldn't throw the LM350s away . It's a viable regulator. asnider (Alan) uses them regularly. I've used one in a PT; a number of people have made the 'poorvari' mod. There is always something 'better'; but that doesn't mean what you have isn't any good.

The LM2596 has a 'relatively' low efficiency; yet I can vape for 12+ hours on a $3 eBay module using this converter and 2 14500 batteries.

If you regularly vape at 12+ WATTS you may want to go for switching regulators over linear; higher efficiency over lower. But if you don't vape at these levels regularly, then IMO, you have a lot more options when it comes to putting a mod together.
