My MVP runs a 1.1 ohm coil that my ZMAX and Vamo won't. I like the resistance check and the mvp does not have it, It's a solid dual battery device. Im sure someone will have replacement batteries for it by the time I need one. I like it. Get one from the coops. It's in the planning section.

I got the VAMO and the MVP both for XMAS and love both.. I REALLY love the MVP for it's size and power. It only goes to 5v but I'm never past 5 anyway.. You wont be disappointed with the MVP.. Great PV for the price.. The VAMO for the price is another awesome PV. Its my 1st and only VW PV and that too hits like a truck..

I have both the Vamo and the MVP. If you ate choosing between the two, I would get the Vame if you don't have another variable voltage device that checks resistnace.

I change atomizers throughout the day depending on what juice I want to vape and whether I am in the car, at the office, at home, or out and about. They tend to all be slightly different resistances and I like the variable wattage of the Vamo, just screw on the new atomizer and not have to change any settings. Plus the Vamo is versatile in that you can change battery configurations for a smaller size or a longer size with more battery life.

The MVP is nice and compact, and it has great battery life. But the inability to check resistance is a real shortcoming for me. After screwing on a new atomizer or tank, I will need to adjust the settings with the first few vapes to find my sweet spot again, something I don't need to do with the Vamo. I also do rebuild all of my atomizers, and here, again, the MVP's lack of resistance check is inconvenient.

They are both great PV's, it just depends on your vape style on what will suit you better.

I have been using an MVP for about 2 weeks now and I love it, I think it is a real game changer for the price. It is well built and the size is awesome. I am a diehard DCT tank guy so this works great with my current setup of choice (artemis tank, 2.0 dual coil smok tech). The 5 volt cutoff does not bother me since I never go above 4.5 volts, I'm not new to VV either as I have a provari, 3 Shan mods and a madvapes VV box. I have recommended this PV to a few of my friends and I can guarantee that they will be happy with them, so go ahead and give it a shot.

I have a provari and Silver Bullet and I'm really considering the mvp for my out and about and work mod. Only reason I'm a bit weary is the batteries aren't replaceable. But considering I won't be using it much and the charge lasts a couple days and usually batteries are good for 300 or more cycles it'll last me a couple years. I'll never use the cell phone charger function only if it's an emergency.

I don't have a vamo but I do have an MVP. It's been great, since I don't rebuild, I don't need a resistance checker.

It's also cheaper if you don't have batteries and a charger already. You can grab the MVP device only for around 50 bucks, if you already have a micro USB cable (pretty common), you are all set. If not, you can pick one up for a few bucks.

I'm sure the vamo is great too.

I've had the MVP for a couple of weeks and I've found it perfect for my needs. I love the inbuilt battery, I don't have to carry batteries and a charger if I'm going away for a while. It does have a couple of weak points though. Apparently the charging port is pretty fragile, I've had no issues with mine, but I'm fairly gentle when plugging in for a recharge. The beauty ring at the top actually pulls the 510 connection out of the device if over tightened, so you need to keep an eye on this and push the connection back down if you notice any movement.

I had an MVP. I loved it while it lasted. The micro usb port broke and left me extremely disappointed. I have been actually looking around at what I am going to get next while I using my reserve K-ego. I went to a brick-and-mortar store and bought a VAMO. After returning home, I put in my 18650 battery, and it would not fire. I unscrewed my tank and looked at the 510 connection and there was no o-ring separating the center pin. It was reading everything as 0.0 ohms. I immediately returned it. However, the store has a no returns policy which I was not aware of and I paid $92 for something DOA. Luckily, they said I could get a refund tomorrow. I say go with the MVP if you don't need anything higher than 5v. It is extremely reliable, other than the micro usb issue. I think I will buy one again, because I don't see anything better for a similar price, and I think that about 8 months of use is reasonable for $60. I imagine the next one will last me years as I will be more careful with the micro usb and possibly solder it in to prevent this issue from recurring.

I have both the VAMO and the MVP. While I've only had the MVP for a few days now, I have rarely touched the VAMO since I got it. For me, the MVP is the one to go with. I haven't gotten into rebuilding atmoizers as of yet, so I'm not concerned about the ohm checker. If I need that in the future, I do have the VAMO to do so.

Got MVP as my 1st Mod then Vamo V2. Very impressed by MVP battery can last for 2 days (I vape sometimes 10 ml a day). Recently I find out I can go as low as 0.9 ohn on the boxy guy, wow! That's far better than my late purchase Vamo V2. Havnt tried 0.5 ohm yet, I believe it can handle very well. Back to OP's question, I would suggest to buy these 2! Since they are quite cheap, MVP is only US$30, Vamo is around US$50. Owning 2 Mods is a basic standard,hahaha... Later OP can add some expensive mechanical mods. My 2 cents.

I've had the MVP for a few weeks and I love it. I have been looking to get an EVIC or Tesla and a Vamo. The MVP is an extremely capable very portable and long lasting device and I actually have considered getting a second one (Can't beat that price for a complete kit with 2 Iclear 16's)

Only reason I want to get a more tubed mod is for some variety and as back ups but I have shyed away from them so far because of the batteries and the chargers.

I do not regret purchasing my MVP one bit.

I have both the Vamo and the MVP. Vamo is great for at-home; MVP is great for out-and-about. I'm definitely getting one of the new MVPs that have VV and VW and ohms checking and eGo cone threading! Combined with the outstanding battery life and friendly form factor, the new MVP should be my new favorite!

What are you thoughts on this device versus something like the Vamo?

I got an itaste MVP about a month ago and im very satisfied with it. Good solid device that has excellent battery life (between charges) as stated it doesnt have a resistance checker. but other than that im quite satisfied.I dont really need an ohm checker....yet.

I have both. I find I use the MVP more and more. The vamo when using a 650 battery is huge and doesn't seem to last as long as the MVP. The MVP I can carry in my pocket al day with out getting any strange looks because I have a large cylinder in my pocket aka the vamo. They are both pretty decent. Good news is if you go to fasttech you can get both with everything you could need for a pretty decent price.
