Does anyone make a mass marketed VV 808?

I have been looking for one on at least 10 different sites that offer 808 parts without success. an adapter which costs $5 to $10 would only add about half an inch to the length. i can't find any drip type atomizers or VV for an 808. The twist is a tempting VV for the price. I would worry about the twister button breaking if i dropped it.

I did get a 5 volt "military stealth" fat batt (automatic only) from Vapor Girl for under $20 and i used "lips" code for free shipping. Some have referred to 5 volt as the sweet spot. It has an 808 thread but you cannot use a standard 808 charger (has to be 300ma) and theirs ($7) is still out of stock. You can get an echo 808 charger (not the Echo - E) from Cropduster901 for $3. they also have single and dual coil cartos with a wider bottom at cropduster901. My 808 clearos won't fit but they are available for echo type batts.

If you look around you can find a 510 to 808 adapter that only adds a millimeter in length like this one from Mad Vapes. 510 to 901/808-D Shorty Adapter. The echo charger from cropduster will work on your stealth. 808 does not make atomizers. You used to be able to use 901s on 808 batteries until the 808s all switched to solid center posts. It's a long explanation why they don't work anymore so I'll spare you.

The twist is sturdy so don't worry about dropping it. For me, I don't mix and match so much anymore. My 510s stay home and I use them for dripping and checking out crazy new hardware and the 808s go out with me because they are light, reliable and the hardware for the echo type batteries hold a lot of juice.

with all the newer, cheaper VV units coming out, that lack of interest really isn't going to serve them very well lol

Well....they are married to the 808 horizontal coil hardware which is only good between 3.6 and 4 volts. Even the x2 seems to be designed to convince their customers that fat bats are big and bulky and should be used at home so they will continue to use the slims.

So yeah....we'll see if the tune changes as VV gets cheaper, smaller and more pocket/user friendly.
