Started with a Kanger T3S (bottom). Gurgled and leaked like crazy. I drank more than I vaped.

Went to a PT2 (bottom). Better, but still gurgled and leaked in certain situations.

Went to Vivi Nova (top). No gurgle. No leak... But it was a slightly less satisfying vape. I almost stayed here, thinking it was the best id get.

Went to IGO W. 1.8 ohm micro coil with cotton. PERFECT for me. Guy at the BM taught me to build the coil in about 10 minutes. I bought 100" of 30g kanthal for <$5. Ruined my first two coils... I can now build a coil in a minute or two. I don't mind dripping. I actually enjoy it. My coils can last for a month, but I rebuild every week or two for fun and practice.

Waiting for my Magneto Brass V2 in the mail now, then will probably go dual micro coil for fun. But even without that, I love my IGO W dripper. Best of both worlds.

I have a few different types of clearos now as I've experimented, and I honestly just can't like my bottom coil mini clearos from SI. First, half of them leaked everywhere. Finally figured out how to get them to stop leaking and every last one tastes like burnt plastic (and burns my throat), despite the juice flavor or how long I let them wick before using them. I haven't had any similar issues with top coil with regular wicks, am I doing something wrong or are the ones from SI just junk?

I didn't read thru everything but here's my 2cents on ur first post. I as u bought the bottom coil mini from SI and it tastes AWFUL -- first juice terrible so I vaped thru it thank goodness it was a strong juice (Deadly Sin for GLV) and then when it was gone -- don't ask how I vaped it all -- I cleaned the thing in the hottest water possible, letting it soak and everything.

I just filled it up with a different juice and it STILL tastes like crap! At first it was a little low on vapor and all that and I was like okay its not all the way dry so I vaped thru the water but once I did and got to the juice it still didnt taste right! And I know how pantydropper is supposed to taste cuz I have already vaped some in a Phoenix. Right now I have my SI bottom coil just sitting there with the juice in it cuz I can't even stand it. I'm just glad I only bought 1. I ALWAYS only buy 1 when I'm trying something new.

To add to it I also bought 1 (yes 1) of SI's T3's and I'm having a hard time with that too. It leaks all over the place thru the bottom hole. I've bought a replacement head and everything to no avail. I don't know how to rebuild and IDK if it's worth me ordering everything I need in order to rebuild 1 T3.

I've had better luck with top coil clearo's. I have v2 EX blanks (both versions) and I have some iclear 16's as well.
The only bottom coils I've done okay with and I really say okay in a shaky sense are the Phoenix's. Let's hope the Aspire that should be coming any day holds up to expectation or else from now on its top coil only!

I was a big bottom coil Kanger fan for the first few months vaping. Then I saw a Phil Busardo video on cartos and carto tanks. I use carto tanks 90-% of the time now. The other 10% is spent with chimney RBA's and good drippers. No comparison actually. I did like bottom coils over top coils, and I can recoil the Kangers, about a months worth in less than an hour. And, I can fix a gurgling/flooding clearo in seconds and avoided leaking 99% of the time (very proactive). No such problems with cartos. I like them all, but use Boges most of the time in Phiniac's, IBTanks, and my new GP SnP's (my favorite). Good luck to you! You're on the right track! Vape On and Prosper!

Smoktech ARO Pyrex user for months now. For the price, why bother with kanger?

Davide BDC looks amazing.

I take a tiny slither of the flavor wick out to improve flow. I have scorched coils after waiting for them to saturate. I don't like I clear16s. They taste like plastic and wick...

Been using a Smoktech Aro bottom coil for abt 6wks now and have had no issues with it. I top it off every night before bed and stick my battery on the charger. I can comment on top coils only to say that the two I had (both ce4's) constantly leaked and I didnt want to take the chance on a vivi nova. I prefer a cooler vapor so the bottom coil fits my needs and leak free operation has me sold. Just my two cents, once my budget opens up and I can afford to experiment further my opinion may change.

I prefer the cooler vape one gets with bottom coils. I have taken a shine to the Vapeonly BCC 1.8 mls. They come with 3 threadless atomizer heads rated at 1.8, 2.2, & 2.5Ω which easily pop in and out. I like the flat mouthpiece which though threaded also snaps on and off. The draw is a little tight, but so far no funky taste and I have 4 backup heads assuming the tank holds out.

Since I got it working without leaking, I love my RG500's which are like giant evods using same bottom heads as the evod but with a longer spike, I found the 2.4 ohm head gives better flavour than the 1.8 and a big 5.0ml tank makes for an all day use.

Second to that I do also like my Protank Mini II, its a little charmer with a cheeky kick to the flavour I find and close to that the Phoenix ravens nest DCT does well.

What I find not so good are the T8 Rocket Sax's which look the business with the light up LED etc but just taste soooooooo bland and plasticy

We use the minis from SI and we love them. None of ours have a burnt taste nor do they leak. SI is our sole provider of vaping items and we haven't had the first problem with them. Don't give up on them. they have good prices and great customer service.

Don't get me wrong, I adore SI (esp since I get everything next day) and I haven't tried the new Aspire line yet. I just had bad experiences with all 5 BCC minis that I ordered. The mini top coils all are great, and their carts are great.
