Hey everyone. Pretty new to vaping here. Been using a blucig kit for the past 2 weeks. I don't care what anybody says about blucig. All i know is that their new stuff performs excellent compared to what I've seen with their older 3 piece system.

I have a larger system on order. It's a eGo twist with a T3. My plan as of right now is to use the twist at home and while driving, and to use the blucigat work and in public.

Has anybody had success using this method? I'm not ready to carry around the eGo twist setup and use it around co workers, strangers, friends, etc. I'm not looking to attract attention to myself.

I'm just worried that once i start using the twist, the blucig won't satisfy me anymore, and I'll be back to smoking cigarettes at work. Does anyone have any experience to share or advice?

I have never used anything but fatt batts and box mods. Personally, the bigger the better. I don't care what anyone thinks. Plus, way better vapor and flavor with the big boys. I've tried slim versions, blu disposable and kit(never purchased for myself, friends gear) meeeh not my style. So I say to onlookers... "Watch me vape!"

My advice: Stop caring so much what other people think. If the boss gives you the OK to vape, just stealth vape if you're that uncomfortable or wait to do so during lunch/bathroom breaks. But really, life is more fun when you're not so tied up in meaningless judgement from others.

I don't use a cig-a-like as I don't want people to equate vaping with smoking. This came about when I would use my Blu in public and people would think it was smoking. Now I use a completely non cigarette looking device and no one ever thinks I am smoking. So, in answer to your question, NO, I have not had success in using it around strangers as they will assume a cig-a-like is, well, cigarette like and are more apt to complain of someone smoking.

Also, in public please be mindful of other people's space. I do not blow huge clouds of vapor out, I stealth so as not to call attention to it. Sure, some people will always see me doing something, but no need to vapor up a room as if challenging someone to complain. Of course, if I know that I am in a vape friendly place I may blow a bit more vapor, but nothing like the voluminous clouds I so dearly love to blow out at home or in my car :)

Why do you even care? Not a lot of people care how you look or what you do.
No offense intended here. Just it sometimes amazes me, why some make such a big deal of it.
I actually see that nobody really cares that I use ecig. Today new dude started working in my team, friendly one. Just asked does this help me keep away from cigarettes and congratulated me.
Of course there are weird ones that will try to convince you that e-cig is going to kill you, brutally, at night. They heard/seen it somewhere they can't remember where or what it actually was, but it's there.

Maybe it's weirdness of Tel-Aviv and it's not the same in other cities, but I still think you shouldn't care and just be happy you found e-cig.

Hey there! Started with the ego-t, moved to twists & now awaiting my vv mod. I use them wherever I'm at...in the car, walking the dog, at work etc... I really could care less. I've gotten some strange looks & even struck up some good conversations with smokers. We have nothing to be ashamed of! I think some of the looks I get are curiosity & some are just plain ignorance!! Trust me you won't be bothered after awhile. If you truly are concerned try ordering some smaller ego batteries. I started with the 1100 mah but got some 650's only because they're easier to keep in my pocket when I'm at work.

I can't sat for sure but you may not like your blu as much after you start. My personal opinion is that you'll see a huge difference in your vaping experience & they may start to collect dust lol!

I mostly use a Joye 510 (same size as a Blu) when I'm out. I don't really like using something huge in public. It works fine for me. I sometimes use a small ego battery and cartomizer- that's not really that big and noticeable. It's not that I care so much as I don't feel like going through the show and tell and "What's that?". They know a black 510 with a blue light on the end isn't a cigarette.

I think the longer you vape, the addiction isn't as strong as when you first start vaping and it works fine for me.

I care. I have a mod that I use most of the time. I got a Volt kit after 9 months of vaping for using in public for the times when I'm tired of people staring at me like they are wondering what planet I am from. No, I don't care what they think of me. But it still gets old.

I'm not sure about the performance of the blu since I haven't used one, but after a vv mod I am completely satisfied using the Volt. I usually use it part of the time every day, whether I am in public or not. (I don't count at work as "in public". My co-workers are used to my vaping.) If you become unsatisfied with the Blu, I'm sureyou'll get over the fear of using bigger batts in public.

And I disagree. I have used egos, a mod, and Volts. The Volt draws the least attention in public in my experience. Even if its pink or purple. :)

I don't have a cig-like setup but am going to get one for use in public only. I could give a flip what anyone thinks but do find the "looks" every bit as uncomfortable as I would with someone staring at me... just human nature personal space thing I guess. But, the main reason is the threads I've seen here where members describe being hassled by the cops.. one... and two... a woman passed by with her little kids in tow while I was vaping my eGo C without a cone on it. The kids were really curious and I felt for that mother who, perhaps, thought I was consuming an illegal substance (board rules here.) I don't want kids getting the wrong idea or giving their parents problems trying to explain. But that's just me. They wouldn't think a thing of it if what I had looked like a cig... well maybe.. but then the parent could just give them the anti-smoker lecture.

I don't like attracting attention to myself - but I use my ego exclusively - in public or at the office. At the office I stealth vape - it's not hard at all. I use mint (not menthol) juice just in case anybody happens to catch a whiff or if it lingers on my clothes.

In public I just do it when nobody is nearby. If I go to the store I vape in the car on the way and leave my PV in the car - just the same as I did when I was smoking. I didn't walk around Wal-Mart smoking or light up at the table at restaurants (since indoor smoking was banned) so I don't feel the need to vape at those times/places, either. It's not like I go to extremes hiding it in public but I don't want to draw any complaints for "smoking" and I don't really feel like answering the "what the heck is that thing"? questions, either.

First let me say congratulations for making the decision to put down cigarettes and taking up the e-cigarette. Don't feel that you need to hide this alternative to smoking cigarettes. There are a lot of smokers who may ask you about it and this will be your opportunity to tell them about it, possibly making other converts. As far as nonsmokers... I'm sure they may have family members who smoke and it will be an opportunity for them to find something that could make them give up cigarettes.

I started with the Volt starter kit which are similar in size to cigarettes but chose different colors so at a glance people would know it was not a cigarette. Since that time I moved up to the Volt X2 which is an ego style battery and ego twists for variable voltage and longer battery life. I also have a couple of 400mAh mini ego for vaping on the go. Carrying two of these little guys lasts all day and fit in your pocket nicely. I leave the T3s at home because they are not so easily portable. I use smaller clearos or cartos because they are more durable. Give yourself time... after a while, you won't care what others think about what you decide to carry with you.

I don't care about the looks from other people but I do care about the wear and tear on my ego/tank sets. I often use the 808 style in public as the cartos seat in a way that makes them less likely to break. Also I have had the tip of a CE3 come off in my pocket spilling the juice contents, not only did I waste an ML of juice but I smelled like grapes for the rest of the day.

i started with a white cig-a-like way back..then eventually switch to the ego t because I got tired of the constant battery swapping, constant charging and endless mess with the liquids. I never liked how the ego looked (to me..not to others). One day, my husband was waiting for me in the car puffing away on his ego..and I did not like how it looked on HIM either..lol. I now have an eroll. for me it is perfect..good size..good feel..easy, hassle and mess free filling (with a ucan anyway). and the pcc keeps it charged all day without having to take the little monkey apart. I quickly gave up on my first pcc because carrying around charged batteries was easier than fiddling around with the charger. The eroll can be placed in the charger flipped around so the charger does not charged needlessly.

so..find what works for you...they all look a bit funny anyway..lol...

Don't hate the mini people lol

For two years I've managed to put a cig-a-like between my lips rather than a cigarette. It's the only reason I vape. Nothing against big mods but this works for me. I think as technology improves, e-cigs will continue to get smaller, not bigger. Provari's will be the size of NJOYS.
