I would put product quality and customer service on the same level for criteria. There are companies out there that if you get a battery that underperforms, they'll change it out for you - most of the time completely free. As far as the type of equipment, it depends what you want. "Cigarette" style batteries don't last as long as the bigger eGo style batteries, but are discrete and have that "cigarette" feel, if that's what you're looking for. Smokeless Image, Bloog, Halo or V4L all have good reviews in this category. You also can go with the eGo style batteries from a variety of vendors, like Hoosiers, SI, Madvapes, Good Prophets (and the list can go on) which have a longer battery life (so you might only carry one or two eGo style batteries compared to two or three of the smaller ones), but are larger (like a small cigar). It depends on what you want, but I would always suggest looking up customer service for those vendors and weighing it with the product quality.

If your heart is really set on an cig-like PV then the Volt may be the one you'd want to look at although it will not provide the same vape as a 3.7 as listed previously and battery life is not as good. You will also be limited in the type of cartomizers, atomizers, etc you could use. Many of my lady friends use and love the Kgo.
Here's a review of the Kgo just to give you an idea of the size.

Good Luck

Thank You everyone, I have read a ton of reviews on here and throughout the internet. I'm thinking I should just start with a kit and go from there.
I guess my issue is I will be using as I would a real cig. other than in my home away from my children. I will be going outside with other smokers to use it, and apparently all the ones that look like real cigs. aren't really that great. I only care about that so I don't look like an idiot standing outside with other smokers puffing something strange and also for use in my car to look like a (MODERATED) :). But I want a decent quality, that I will want to stay with, and that is what matters most.
