I like this forum. No porn and the personal useless attacks get taken out. Who wants to read that garbage anyway. The last thing I want is a heavy handed moderator who wants to rule the world. I have found that most members speak from their experience. It is up to me to decide if I want to take that advice or not.
Just understand that any advice given is based on that persons experience ...... not yours.
As for the particular product you alluded to, think about the viscosity of any given fluid. What may work well with VG may not work at all with PG. An individuals experience may be based on a combination of things, not just the product itself.

I only use vg. It works fine. Obviously if i used pg then modding it would make it worse not better. There is no fix for this device because there is nothing wrong with it in the first place. In fact i would go as far as to say that for the price this device outshines anything. Based on the price only !!
Again you know, ecf will end up being choc a bloc with bad advice. I don't think ecf want's a database of worthless information.
And if it was left unmoderated ecf would be full to the brim with bad advice. Every thread someone would read would be full of nonsense. A database of nonsense if you like. Not very usefull.

As far as it "outshines anything", that statement kinda makes you guilty of what you are complaining about because it sure doesn't based on my experience. ............ see what I mean .......... Now if you add "IMO" to the statement, then it becomes valid.
You brought a concern to the table which is always good but... You left out a couple very important elements. #1. Supporting documentation to your claim. You have been called out at least twice in this thread to validate your claim by posting a link to "deliberate false information for the purpose of amusement". You have failed to do so. #2. You gave the suggestion to "report" said activity, but have failed to properly follow your own advice when implementations are clearly in place for said circumstances. #3. You have failed to provide a viable solution to alleged activity (Other than what is already currently in place) IMHO I believe you "may" have recently received advice that did not happen to work for your particular situation for whatever reason. If this is the case, simply address that specific person in a private manner and try not to stereotype the whole forum because of your current situation. On that note... I know without a doubt that there are several posts and disclaimers that state "At your own risk".

Some asks a Question and then people reply. If Completely Blatant Advise is given, other members will point it out and state reasons why it is Bad Advice for the OP. There isn't much need for Moderation.
Maybe you should Lurk Around the ECF for a Little Longer to see if there is Really that much advise that "You" think is so Bad?
Heres some advise for you that is proven to work everytime, and it is also moderator approved, If your not happy with ECF, use your sign out button, That is all.
No if left unmoderated it would be filled with pointless hateful attacks and porn. The advice given is given freely. Just like with real life you tend to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. Don't take advice from people you think are dumb. Problem solved.
Welcome to ECF mike. While I've managed to only read maybe the 1st 15 of your 26 posts, I genuinely hope that you find what it is you are looking for from the site.
However, I can't help but point out that I find your statement above to be... ironic?
ECF as a body of members tends to self regulate any information posted, and when that info is found to be problematic by enough people, it will resolve itself by peer review. When necessary moderators will take action.
So far I've ran into two of your threads, and I feel peer review is starting to kick in.
