Does getting a flavorless liquid make sense?

I've been doing good (2 days without a cig using various 25mg juices), however my wife says that she hates the sweet taste of the juices that I've ordered and even went as far to say that it makes her stomach upset on the ecig. She still wants the throat hit, but not the flavor. Even the ones that are supposed to taste like tobacco seem to be too sweet for her. Is her best bet to try a DIY flavorless liquid? Does 70PG and 30VG makes sense? Or should I be looking for a flavored liquid that is very subtle? Any suggestions?

gee, that sounds just like my partner, doesn't like sweet juices and his stomage get upset by PG liquids.
these are the only 2 liquids i found for him so far:

ECOpure Rich eliquid (is PG free)
E Liquid - XO - E Liquid - XO - Tobacco the Tobacco Ultima - VG (it has 5% or less PG)

DIY is also an option as you can controle exactly what goes in it, and it is handy to find out what component of the juice her stomage react to, as you can try everything step by step.

I think VG is generally a bit sweeter. And VG is thicker. Whether 70/30 makes sense for you depends on your vaping method. Atomizer and cart (or drip tip on a manual) can use any PG/VG as long as it flows at least as fast as you vape. Reservoir cartos and tanks generally like the thickness of 30% or less VG though some thinner 50/50's may work OK. In simple stuffing cartomizers I find I get best wicking/drag and longest good use out of a carto with 20% or less VG. Some VG is useful to make nice vapor and buffer the irritation of nicotine.

Re flavors - you could stop buying sweet flavors. Try lots of flavors and find ones that are barely sweet. You could try flavorless but it may still be slightly sweet. if you don't want sweet tobaccos do not buy RY4, 555, Honey-anything. One non-sweet one I used was FreedomSmokeUSA Desert Ship (nutty and pungent Turkish blend many thinks smells like a freshly opened pack). They also have a variety of tobaccos - more than any other vendor. The Flavor range ones have selectable PG/VG. And the samples and specialties are 50/50 (less TH).

And some non-sweet tobaccos listed here
