Does having a Reo make you lazy?

Ha! You seem like a good bunch of folks, so I had to pick on ya! I've ordered a black wrinkled Grand. I decided to wait before I get an RM2. I've got big, shaky hands, so I don't know exactly how the rebuilding is gonna go. I'm waiting on an IGO L from FT. I want try it on a cheap rda before I buy a 43 dollar one. I'm just enjoying all the options we have these days! Seems unreal that I can produce billowing clouds all day long without so much as removing my drip tip!

Iron, bro, I have shaky big hands too. Worst part is their connected to dude with little or no patience. I learned it and killed it from build number one. There is really nothing to it. We got your back if you have any questions too. Good work bro. Congrats.

I just got my IGO-L from FT this weekend (ordered it before I joined the amazing REO ranks.) I don't think that it will work on the REO, as the FT IGO-L I have has a sealed 510 connection.

Either way, after becoming familiar with the RM2 and THEN trying out the IGO-L, well, the RM2 is hands down easier to set-up. It's the easiest rebuildable I have ever used.

I had already ordered the IGO before I decided to take the REO plunge also. That's why I decided to try it first since it's already bought and paid for. Only thing is, I've been waiting for it for 2 weeks (and counting).

You probably already know that isn't the case with the IGO-L, right?

Yes. I was actually referring to my Vmod. I actually decided on the IGO L because it has a pool on the bottom which is supposed to allow you to fill it with up to 20 drops of liquid at a time. Big improvement over 2 or 3! I figured I would mainly use it to try new liquids. I've done my homework, folks. I've been glued to this site (and youtube, and vendor sites) like a religious fanatic for several weeks now trying to absorb all the new info I can! That's how I found my way to REOville.

The IGO-L works nice once setup but its a pain to setup. There are no holes in the posts to put the wire through. You have to wrap it around the screw and tighten it down. This almost always pulls on your coil and messes it up. The IGO-S is smaller but easier to work with because it has holes for the wire. Don't let the IGO-L discourage you from RBA's. The RM2 is well worth the money, very easy to setup and vapes great. Start saving for one right away. It will save you tons of money and headaches. Just about the best bang-for-your-buck in the vaping world.

I recently got an IGO-L for my Touchwood and I must say, I really like it once I got over not having the holes in the post. I'm surprised by how much juice it holds. I've been spoiled by the ease of the RM2. I might try to drill some in the IGO. Now, if I could only get the Touchwood to squonk.:p

I like the IGO-L, and still use it whenever I feel the urge to test juices. True, the lack of holes on the posts were a bummer to start with, but now I just loop the wire before I put it over the posts. The only bother I've had with the IGO is the fact that the posts are so close, as mentioned above. Also, getting the coil perpendicular to the edge by the airhole requires some give and take.

Once set up, however, it's a nice little rig. This is the kind of rig I used before I got the Reo.

Don't use it much anymore, since my juice testing days seem to be over :D

It's here already! Been off today, so I've spent most of the afternoon playing with it. Had a little trouble, at first. I like the cartomizers best on my Vmod, because when I use one of the hybrid attys on it, it seems too easy to get a dry hit. I ordered a couple attys and a couple of cartos with the REO. Tried the carto I got with it first, primed it, squeezed the bottle several times till it started gurgling, and no matter how hard I tried, got burned plastic taste. Took well broken in carto off the Vmod, and got the same thing. I then tried the smoketech 501 atty, and it got better: better taste than Vmod, decent vapor, but pretty stiff draw. I then broke out one of the hybrid attys that I had tried but did not like on the Vmod. Muuuch better! Seems like the REO is more of an atty than a carto device. Which is a good thing, since they seem to have a cleaner taste, and are much easier to clean! I've been enjoying it since, though I'm sure it pales in comparison to an RM2 with a good micro coil. BTW, if any of you have any good suggestions for good non rebuildable BF attys that won't break the bank, I'd appreciate it. Here's a pic of my well built new PV: 038.jpg

Nice. Pretty sure my next is a black wrinkle grand or similar.

Got LOTS of tanks and some tubes that will fund it and anaother reomizer when I get off my .... and clean. It's so hot today that a beer and an episode of SOA is on the docket for tonight. Anr my reo, fresh battery and fresh coil. It's going to be a nice relaxing evening. I do NOT miss going out to smoke with a 110 heat index!

BTW, if any of you have any good suggestions for good non rebuildable BF attys that won't break the bank, I'd appreciate it.

Read this, skip the temporary atty and shorty carto route. Seriously. Not one regret. I have not touched another mod (I have all the common ones) since the reomizer arrived.

Thanks for the link, thinkingaboutit! It does ease my mind to hear so many of you talking about how easy it will be. I'm sure I have at least one RM2 in my near future! I can easily afford one, but I kinda wanna slow down the purchases right now. I've gone pretty wild the last month buying all kinds of Ecig stuff. I wanted to try all the new stuff out there now! Now that I know I have found the Mod I want to use, that shouldn't be near as bad from here on. If I wait, it'll give me another something to look forward to, ya know?

I received my IGO a few days ago, but I didn't get a chance to mess with it until today. I had already made a couple of attempts to rebuild an AGA T2, with dismal results. That's one reason why I was more than a little skeptical about my rebuilding abilities. I had read that is easier to rebuild an RDA, so that's why I wanted to try it before I spent any more money on RBA's. I attempted my first coil with 30ga kanthal, and became a little frustrated because no matter how tight I wound the coil, it would spring back when I released tension on it, and most of the coils would no longer be touching. I then tried with 28ga, with MUCH better results. I then had no problem threading the cotton wick in. It came out to 1.8 ohms. I primed it and tried it out, and it performed great, except the TH was overwhelming--made me cough every puff! I remember in the video I watched that you pos the coil closer to the base to decrease TH, and it worked. Amazing how much difference a couple of mm can make! Anyway, I'm feeling much more confident now, and I think I'm ready to order that RM2!

I have several different types RBAS, Killers, macARBs, eBaron Spiral, all ceramic cups, A7s and Mini A7s, Surfaces, ERAs and Hornets, Vision Eternity, RM2s. Of those none come close to the remarkable ease of build of the RM2. And the RM2 is by far the easiest to tweek for coil position.

The RM2 arrived here today! And, I guess ya'll know what you're going to hear. This thing is just as awesome as you described! Now it wasn't an absolute breeze to build with these clumsy hands o mine, but it is very doable with some effort! I'm sure it'll get easier as I get my routine down. This atty blows away anything else I've put on my Reo, even with my amateur coil in it. Thanks Super X, your tutorial helped a TON.
