Does Height matter?

I'm thinking (seriously contemplating) of purchasing a regular size phiniac tank and trying out a couple different types of cartos (boge and kangar horizontal coil). I'm wondering if the height of the carto makes a difference with longevity and chanelling of the juice. Is the height of the system (tank + carto) only a preference for not having to fill as often or does the height of the carto make a difference in any other way that I can't think of right now?

She said on her ad that she was looking for 6' 2" at least.

Well, I'm only 5' 9" but I messaged her anyway. Broad was being too specific IMO. Amirite?

Anyway, we went out and had a great time, though I know she was eyeballin' my height, so I started eyeballin' her right back!

And there we were, locked in an epic eyeball battle, neither one of us willing to give in...

And then I showed her the carto, and demonstrated its longevity and how efficiently it channeled the juice.

We are happily married now; height is no longer an issue.

If you contact them with the measurements of the carto you are using, they will suggest the appropriate tank. I use XL cartos and was told to get the Tallboy size. It fits perfectly. Hope that helps!

I'm not asking about what fits with what size, but rather is there a difference in the longevity and draw of juices with a standard size versus XL size carto? Hope that clears up my post.

I do believe that Bullwinkle has implied that the height of a carto doesn't matter (or that he prefers a standard woma...I mean carto).

Height of the carto shouldn't matter. The long cartos are good for tall (high capacity) tanks, though they can also be used in shorty tanks. In my experience, there is a bit of a flavor difference between the short and XL cartos, but the same could be said about one shorty vs. another in the same package.

Hi there ... I just got my phiniac regular tank a few days ago. I'm using an LR Boge carto with it on my Mist of the Wood mod and a regular drip tip on top. The tank completely covers the carto, and the only thing sticking out of the top of the tank is the drip tip. Had I known this ahead of time, I probably would've got pre-punched "long" LRs.
