Does it reall work? YES

There are hundreds of success stories on this site. Are Ecigs going to "hit you" the same way?? Nope. Will they fulfill that nicotine urge and the physical adiction of putting something to your mouth and smoking? Yup

I recently quit and I still get urges - but my vape takes care of the urges completely and I have no desire to EVER go back to analogs

I quit the very first time I tried vaping, that very minute, I got the huge 18mg throat hit and coughed it out and never went back. 3 plus years ago....

It was an adjustment to the vape, the effect was not the exact same and yes I did crave but I got over it pretty fast. You will too if you stick with it and let your body adjust to it.

Yes it works, the experience as a whole is the same. You take a drag, taste something nice and you feel it in the back of your throat. I was on a big pack a day of West/Chesterfield (heavier smokes) for 7 years. Once you move away from tobacco-like flavors (likely in the first month) you'll find a whole new world of flavors to discover and enjoy, it's great.

Have you ever wondered why you always get your welcome drink with artificial lemon and the finger bowl with a real one?

Similarly, e-smokes are not as useful I think. The real one hits you in one way and the artificial one in another!! What say folks?

I agree about the lemons, but Vapeing is not even close to being a lemon, to me Vapeing is the real thing not smoking.

Smoking is the 6 dollar bottle of wine, where Vapeing is the 30 dollar bottle.

Vapeing is real, not artificial.

I never expected it to be the same. After 36 years of being a heavy smoker that couldn't quit using everything the FDA says works (and none did.), I knew I needed a change. I changed and now almost 7 months cigarette and cigar free...

If I wanted the same, I could always run into a burning house somewhere....

4 weeks ago I was doing 2-3 packs a day of strong Mavericks. Smoked for 50 years. Now I am smoking 5 cigs a day for the last 2 weeks and I haven't choked the wife or kicked the dog. So it's working for me.

A little over 4 months ago I was smoking 2+ packs of roll-your-own a day and then I found ecigs and haven't looked back since... Took me 3 days to completely quit and never even got a hint of an urge....

Of course if I choked the wife she'd choke back and if I kicked the dog I'd kick myself even harder so what was the alternative? Seriously, I did 'want' to quit this time -- really really wanted to...

45+ years of moderate to heavy smoking, but it took me a whole week to convert to vaping, as that's what it took to get the right level of nic going for me.

Now, the plan is to gradually reduce the nic (in progress, no timeline...)

Does it work? Well, it did for me, and I wasn't really trying to quit, just exploring an alternative.
