I have just started vaping and don't seem to get much of a throat hit. I am using juice with no nicotine because I am wearing a patch to quit smoking.

I bought a disposable e cig and the throat hit is much more intense. So just wondering if it is the nicotine that makes the difference.

Thanks

Yes, nicotine is probably the primary factor, along with PG (Glycol) content of the liquid. If I wanted to increase the TH without nicotine I'd try vaping straight PG with a bit of flavoring, no VG content, and see how that worked for me. happy Vaping! :vapor:

For me nicotine is the main factor in a decent throat hit at 3.7 volts, I gotta vape at least 12mg nicotine to get a TH. 18 mg is even better though. But at 6v using a carto in a liquinator tank I get a satisfactory throat hit off 6mg nicotine juice. The heat and shear volume of vapor at 6v helps simulate a 18 mg TH.
