Hi,
Eluma Cigs doesn't want their products to be used by people who use other products. They claim that their product is one of a kind, made just for them, and that their attys can't be used on anything else because of design and the polarity is opposite.
First of all, their atty looks identical to a 902 (a 501 with a slightly longer outer metal length). I thought that polarity didn't matter since pos and neg meet in the fibers to burn the liquid.
Can anyone set me straight on this?
Thanks,
Sir Lawrence

Resistors don't have polarity, it's just a wire that gets hot. However, I'm not familiar with eluma ecigs, and it's entirely possible they designed their batteries to have reverse polarity and put either a diode or an electrolytic capacitor in their atomizers that would prevent them from being used with other standard ecig batteries. If you have a multimeter, I would test the polarity of the battery - put the positive probe to the center and the negative to the threads and activate it; does it read negative or positive voltage? If it reads positive, it's just another ecig battery and they are lying to you to keep you from buying other products. If it reads negative, they still may be lying, but without testing the atomizer I couldn't tell ya.

Worst cast scenario, make a mod with the same polarity as their stock batteries and vape away with increased battery life and lower prices ^_^
