Either way, 13 weeks or quarter of a year, after 23 years of smoking and never even tried or thought about quitting, my discovery of vaping has got me off smoking overnight for this lenght of time with no intention of going back. Sliced bread seems a positively inferior invention compared to electronic cigarettes.

To the people who invented vaping, to all the the people who have offered support/advice encouragement, to people who have posted their views/experiences on this delightful forum and to the manufactuers & suppliers of vaping equipment, may I just thank you all. God bless each and everyone of you.

Agreed, and congratulations! (I'd have probably been thinking of "shirt pockets" instead of "sliced bread", but come to think of it, whoever invented shirt pockets was probably a cigarette smoker. I mean otherwise, why would he need a shirt pocket?)
Happy Vaping! :toast:

Looking around the forum, 13 weeks is small change compared to some of the success stories I have read. Nevertheless, 13 weeks is long enough to convince me I need not revert to analogues. Regardless of an individuals longevity of abstinence, we've all got something in common. We're all here because we've heard of electronic cigarettes. Some of us have tried them, some of us are lurking and thinking about taking the plunge. But the support, guidance and encouragement available on here is truly remarkable. And for that, I thank you all.

I had to chuckle a bit. When I was a new vaper (first month) I was days and hours then after the first month it went to months and weeks after 2 month it was just months and now that I have made it past the first year it's years and "a bit" or "almost". Bottom line.....As long as you have given up the nasties say it how ever you want! Potato, patato. Congrats and welcome to ECF.
