Hello World,

I'm looking to get into rsa's in the near future and I wanna purchase a new mod for that, but I have a few requirements for it that I'm afraid might sadly mean that such a mod does not actually exist...
I'm gonna keep scouring aliexpress, google and youtube(coming up empty so far) but meanwhile maybe I can pick your brains too please?

So here's what I'm looking for, specifying where there is wiggle room and where there isn't:

a) Must be available for purchase brand new - no discussion/wiggle room here.

b) Must be a squonk mod - no discussion/wiggle room here.

c) Want it to look like some of those vandy vape mods with colorful resin doors. The doors don't actually have to be resin(they can be plastic, metal, whatever, would rather not be stickers though), but I want something with those nice designs example here, love the one on the left best - very little wiggle room here, like only in a "OMFG I'm gonna kill myself!!!" worst case scenario type situation; and the size/design don't have to be exactly like that, but I really want the door part.

d) Really like black&red color combinations, so need something that's available in that - not much if any wiggle room here, like maybe if it has a little bit of a third color but black and red were the main ones, then yeah, maybe...

e) Must be dual battery and high power preferably around 200w or more and able to output a decent voltage preferably over 8v. Something with 20xxx batteries if possible, but since it's not a mod I'm gonna be using the entire day 18650's would work too I guess as long as they can output the v's - again very little wiggle room here(aside from the battery part), I am well aware that I'm probably not gonna need that ammount of power for the rsa I plan to start with(dead rabbit) but I don't wanna have to purchase a new mod too if a couple of months down the line I decide to pick up a bigger rsa, I'm not that rich...

f) Price range up to 100-150$ preferably, 150-200$ won't kill me eighter, 200-250$ only if I really have to - some wiggle room here obviously if the mod is a couple of bucks up to 10-15 over 250 and it's my only option then sure, but don't start recommending s*** at 300-400$ or more please, I'm not into high end, and can't afford it eighter.

g) No crap on the top of the mod where the atomizer sits please like on this Dovpo mod really can't stand that stuff and no weird firing button placements please, I like mine on the side - no discussion/wiggle room here.


Probably forgot some stuff(like a color screen would be nice) but since I most likely shot myself in the foot enough with just those requirements I'm gonna leave it at that for now...

This or a lost vape drone are the only DNA dual battery squonkers around. IF you want VV AND you want TC you want DNA, and those are the two available. Neither fits your criteria completely. Specifically the color stuff. There are devices that hit all of them but it’s double your budget or more.

If you want VV but will accept TC that is only arguably worth using at all, there might be a few. If you’re willing to go unregulated there are a bunch.

Of the two that fit the function but not aesthetics criteria, the lost vape drone does have better aesthetics of the two. Your choices are black or translucent yellow though. If you want bright colored kinda cheap looking plastic the vapecige might be better.
You could possibly put a custom rear door on a lostvape drone, but that would be a heck of a lot of money to have commissioned. Double your budget probably.

Ooh! One more option: buy a lost vape drone in black, and an extra plastic rear door. then take it to a car painting shop and leave it there till someone has a car painted red, and get in on the spray job. You want car paint because it’s orders of magnitude tougher. You could theoretically DIY it but you’d need a primer that will adhere to the right kind of plastic, a color coat, (multiples if you’re doing lacquer) and then a clear coat. Big mess and needs a dust free environment.

This would give you a black and red mod. Solid black in the front and solid red in the rear, but black and red.

Yeah I can't think of anything that hits all the points. If it's dual battery and a squonker and resin/stabwood, then it is mech mod not regulated. If it's dual battery and a squonker and regulated then it's not resin/stabwood. If there is such a beast it's likely super expensive and I don't know about it.

Honestly with those requirements, I'd buy one of the two mods listed above then find a local spray paint artist to put a custom paint job on it with a protective top layer. It would likely be a lot cheaper and still tick all the boxes. Otherwise you may have to make one yourself.

Wow, 6 replies, hi guys, thank you. Ok so let me clarify this a bit more cause it seems I didn't do such a good job in the first post, I apologize, but it was already soooo long and I was tired at that hour...
Your suggestions aren't really what I'm looking for, sorry, I'll explain why below, so add these to the list:

1. When I say black&read I mean both colors togheter, ideally with black being the main and red the secondary.

2.1 As much as is possible I want it to be a more rectangular shape(if it has a little buldge in the middle to fit a bigger atomozier or whatever fine, but don't really want something that's more square or round or triangle look, otherwise a Lost Vape at 100$ would be an easy pickup) so the OhbmBoy is out, sorry @Skeebo ;
and the scheme/art/whatever you wanna call it to be like on a Vandy Vape Pulse X(is what I linked to, need 5 posts it seems, really dislike rules like that, whatever, let's not get into that) google it please, see the ones with the awesome "wave?" like pattern of black and red on the doors(specially the "red pomegronote" one) that's what I want! Basically if Vandy Vape had a 200w version(or thereabouts) that looked like that I'd go buy it right now, shut up and take my money or whatever the meme is!!!
2.2 Granted that one is single battery BUT if a mod where to fullfil my requirements, but it was single battery, but that battery could be a 20700 or better yet a 21700 and that was enough for the wattage and voltage requirements then I'd be ok with a single battery mod too! It's not something I am gonna vape on for extended periods of time, so if the w and v reqs are met and the battery life is enough for at least 100 puffs or so then so be it.

3. Again it doesn't actually have to be resin, as long as it has that kind of pattern/colors actually imprinted on the doors(as oposed to on a sticker that is applied to the doors that you know is gonna start to peel off eventually) then it can be plastic, metal, whatever. And yeah, I'd like it to have doors, but if it manages to hit every single other point perfectly but it opens from the bottom, then I could live without the doors too.


4. No unregulated mods, ever! Even if I'd actually wanna kill myself one day, blowing myself up is not the way I would go about it.
(and yeah yeah, I know "not gonna blow yourself up if you're careful / safe if you know what you're doing", etc., trust me I would blow myself up)

5. Though it would be nice to have it just in case, I don't really care about TC, gonna by using mostly kanthal in it.

6. It doesn't have to be a dna chip, whatever get's the job done and meets my requirements.

7. Not gonna be using it in VV mode eighter, just regular wattage mode. The reason why I asked for it to have high max V output is because(from what I understand, correct me if I'm wrong) if you have a low ohm build that needs more power but the max v output is low then even if you set it to 130w lets say, it's not actually gonna give you anywhere near 130w because of the low v output.

8. Button on the side like on the Vandy Vape one please @Wayneo . If I was able to get over that and be ok with button on the front then a Mach On3 from USV in the black&red would be an even better option then what you suggested , but the placement of the firing button there feels just waaaaay too weird to me...


Think that's all, but if I once again forgot something I'll nail it down more as you guys make suggestions, assuming you're not fed up with me already...

Can't see how it would ever happen @bombastinator , but just for curiosity's sake could you please link to one that hits all of them but is way over my budget like you said?

No bad on your part that I know of. I don’t know that there is one. I don’t know if regulated is even a requirement. It was a kind of odd question. The claim that there wasn’t much available and the pricing kind of implied it. There’s an antonym at the beginning I don’t understand though: RSA. Not sure what that means.

I totally understand if you don't like the styling of the Dovpo. I just want to point out that the cap by the atomizer is not for aesthetics. It serves as another way to fill the squonk bottle without taking it out. As far as I know this is a pretty unique feature.

It does look pretty ugly though...

Yeah @Skeebo I knew it was for topfilling which btw, aesthetics aside, I still don't see much point to adding that. Maybe for ppl who use the same juice nonstop it saves a second or two, but if you wanna change juice you would still have to take the bottle out, dump the old juice give it a good clean maybe and then put the new juice in, so... yeah...

Your going to have to add more wiggle to your room. There's a ton of mods out there, but none that that I am aware of that will meet all of your criteria - especially dual battery squonkers, which are more limited.

Have a look through this thread: Squonk Porn! if it's a sqonker of any shape size and color, it is probably listed somewhere in that thread. It's currently 205 pages, but like I said it should have images for just about every squonker in existence. If you can't find what you want in there, it probably doesn't exist.
