I'm looking for a flavor chart, something where the breakdowns are simple and complex at the same time. For instance-

I notice some flavors are "dominant" like cinnamon, clove, etc. essentially the "main" flavor
Others are utility, and can be used as a slightly dominant, or medium mix, or even to accentuate others, like Strawberry, banana, etc.
And others are accentuate flavors like marshmellow, koolada, champaigne, etc.

At the same time, positive/negative flavor relationships factor in. Strawberry and Champaigne mix well, but strawberry and licorice don't.

So has anyone created a chart that displays the flavors, based on utility, then list "complimentary" flavors with each one?

Not that I have seen... But I have had a pretty good Strawberry/ Licorice once (and I abhor licorice). Once you've played a little and read some stuff here you just "Know" what might, what will, and what will not work. You also get to where you can smell a flavor and guestimate a % to start at.

So I'd suggest using the notes you have. Also, look at food recipes- things like desserts, drinks, fruit salads, ect... will give you an idea of what works "in real life" and adjust from there.
