I can Respect your POV Russum. And there is a degree of Valor in Fighting everything at Every step in the Process.

But can we Expect Middle of the Road Senators and their Money Givers to share the Same POV?
No

We cannot expect a historically consistent losing strategy to produce a win.

Well that Isn't good then.

Because at this stage of the Deeming, who is going to be the Ones who can Stand in the Way of ANTZ Senators if it Isn't Moderate, Middle of the Road Senators?

As well as Completely Pro e-Cigarette Senators. But there Aren't that many Out there Last I Checked.

It's all fine and dandy to consider how to minimize damage at the current stage.

But Never lose focus on the end game.

They won't.

If I read the links about the regulatory process correctly, we need a two thirds majority to amend or kill the regulations, right? For some reason I don't see that happening, but miracles can happen I guess.

If you Don't have the Votes for a something like a 2/3 Majority. And it is All going to Sail thru Unaltered. Is it time to Consider dropping some Issues that will hold Senators back from Casting a Ney Vote?

Or do you Stay the course, and Keep Fighting for Everything?

I think a simple majority is needed to start one in the house. From there a simple majority is needed in the senate. It then goes to the pres's desk. If he vetoesn.. then a 2/3rd vote in both houses are needed to override it.

Last time I took a governments course was 30+ years ago.

Regulations that aren't set yet?

No

They could be lost in any branch.

With a large enough push flooding any branch with concerns, that branch will concede stopping it in its tracks to shed the excessive push back.

Once it's passed, 2/3 senate/house is necessary to consider annulment or ammendment without an executive order or over ruling in the supreme court... Which will take tons of money and a very strong fight.

My personal game plan is to continue advocating for the regs as a whole to be dismissed, with the option of a separate product category for vapor products, with standards agreed upon by the industry, similar to the supplement industry. Barring that, if my representatives feel the FDA should have regulatory jurisdiction over vapor products, I will urge them to implement only those that would not decimate the industry. I can say all of that in one letter.

The Last thing B&M owners want is their Customers considering doing DIY. Talk of Regulations tends to get people thinking about Buying Nicotine Base as a Hedge. And then Learning how to do DIY.
Also, directing B&M customers to sites that will open their eyes...
Might open their eyes more than B&M owners would like...

And it's not just about DIY liquids.
It's about things like FastTech, and even ECF.

I *had* wondered why the guy who runs the nearest vape shop seemed so unaware of and uninterested in ECF... guess that explains it. But it also explains why I teach him something new about vaping everytime I go in there. :D Or at least mention something about vaping that he's totally unaware of -- like using a Chi You kick ring in order to use 18500 batteries with a Vamo (thanks edyle!!). :D

I would Highly Suggest that EVERY Person contact Both the House and Senate Reps. And tell them what they want.

Unfortunately for Both You and I, we Couldn't have any more Hard Core ANTZ than we do in the Senate.

When I look up ANTZ Policy Maker in the Dictionary, This Photo is to the Left of the Description.

Yeah, I'm sorry to say I voted for her in the past, not this last election, but previously. I can't be a single issue voter though, there are many republican views that I do not agree with, so my choice is usually democrat, or abstain... Or third party which basically amounts to abstaining.
