Ok, every ejuice now comes in this bottle....it will still poison a child if they drink it, wont it?
If a single vendor, on their own, decided to do this? Nothing. If all vendors, on their own, decided to do this? Nothing. What would be the Downside to the Retailer if they did decide to Not Use cartoon characters so there would be NO Perception that they were Marketing towards Minors?

The problem occurs when people start making public outcries of "look at this vendor, look what they're doing!" Or when organizations start making it a part of their application process, like "no WTA" liquid, etc.
Same way they do now, lie about it and create fear and get everyone up in a huff about basically nothingSure it Could.
But how would the Harkins, or Boxers or Diane F's say it was being Marketed towards Children?
Did you miss my bold emphasis? Or my second paragraph? So if the Answer is "Nothing", what is the Big Deal?

The "debate," for me at least, is similar to the age limit debate. It probably will have no effect on what happens, but hopefully some vapers will realize that they are furthering the misinformation about vaping that is contributing to its downfall. As long as vapers, with direct access to accurate information, still feel we need to "protect the children," I don't hold out too much hope for vaping.
I choose not to simply accept gut reactions based on years of societal brain washing.Nobody is "furthering the misinformation about vaping" by seeing that Images on Bottles at can be Perceived as Marketing to Children.
And Anyone who has Watched that Senate Hearing about e-Cigarette Marketing knows that there is NO Way this will not be Used Against Us.
I choose not to simply accept gut reactions based on years of societal brain washing.
That Great.
Perhaps if you were in the Senate and had a Vote in all this, things might turn out Better.

Reduced ability to distinguish themselves in a competitive marketplace. And BTW - I was asking more what the Downside is for the Retailer?
I doubt it, I'd still have to convince all the vapers who can't see past "it looks like smoking."
Reduced ability to distinguish themselves in a competitive marketplace.
Isn't that what a Registered Trade Mark Does?
