do you ever wonder what exactly are in the juice?
i know most juice tastes real sweet so i'm guessing there must be some sugar in it.
and so what i worry about are the possible chances of artifical sweeteners being in it, like equal/nutrasweet (which contains something like saccharin or asparateme). i really hope thats not the case here.

I'm not terribly concerned about it. The vast majority of e-liquid that I use are all natural, all organic juices. About as safe as it gets in this activity.

I know it's all relative, but when I consider all the tar, arsenic, cyanide, carbon monoxide, and a host of known carcinogens that I smoked for over 30 years, e-cig vapor is like a drop in the ocean in harmful chemicals.

We're all gonna die from something. I'm hoping my "something" is just old age, and I'll likely be vaping until my last day. :D

if it makes you feel better... I would notice aspartame in eLiquid.

I mean, I'm super sensitive to it... it has no sweetness to me, it taste like chemicals... if I mistakenly am served Diet coke at a restaurant, I choke... gag, I feel like i'm being poisoned.

I get no such response to any eLiquid.

Typically used for added sweetness in e-liquids would be Ethyl Maltitol, sucralose and/or stevia. Not all vendors add sweeteners, and some that do offer it as an option, and for some it's part of their standard recipe. If you are concerned, you should check with your liquid vendors and find out what they use. Reputable vendors should be able to tell you (just like any food product would have to list it).

Personally, I am quite sensitive to Ethyl Maltitol & any other "-ols" (sorbitol, etc.) used as non-sugar sweeteners, but I have never had any problems vaping any of these sweeteners. YMMV. :)

I look at it this way (not about the artificial sweeteners, but the pg/vg): As a woman, I use lipstick. After applying lipstick, I drink coffee, eat, lick my lips (especially with some of the gummy lipglosses, yuck!). PG & VG to my knowledge are both in lipstick (someone please tell me if I am wrong). That being said, I've already been exposed to potential hazzards from them, not to mention all of the other ingredients in lipstick....and I cannot...simply cannot, go without lipstick! Talk about an addiction! So, not too concerned, besides, I gave up soooo many chemicals when I gave up cigs!

I have exactly the same response to Aspertame, and I've never had a problem with any e-liquid I've vaped, some of which seem quite sweet.

I wondered about this when I first started vaping. I knew there was vg/pg and nicotine but wanted to know where the flavor came from. Someone directed me to one particular store's ingredient list of their juices and I found that the additional ingredients tend to be the same things you find in foods in the grocery store - artificial flavoring and colorings. I'm not a big fan of Red dye 40 so I avoid getting juices with that in it (just as I do when buying groceries.)

Each juice maker has their own recipes so as stated before, if you are concerned about anything in particular - check with that specific retailer.
