Does vaping give the same amount of nicotine as smoking analogs?

Not the same at all. Finding your level is just listening to your body. If you have constant craving,
start thinking Charlie Manson had some good ideas, you might be light on your nicotine level.
If you're getting headache, dizzy, you might be a little heavy.
You need to find the level that is comfortable for you, almost seems no two vapers react to
the nicotine quite the same.

so do i understand from this that vaping is always not as 'feel good' as analogs? or is 36 ml actually enough?

Oh, it's better and 36 is high test Brutha be careful if your hitting that stuff all day or vaping like a freight train like I do, your heart will be racing if your on that level for to long. It all depends how long you got that PV in your mouth, you will know when your getting to much when you feel your heart pumping and your laying in bed and not sleeping to much and your up til 2-4am hahaha you will see, also depends on what voltage your using too.! but it's not as good as Analogs, it's better, way better, tastier too.!!!

36mg is as high as is usually ever needed, usually by heavy, smok'em to the filter strong cigs, 1 1/2 - 2 pad or more.
Most can vape lower, and light smokers, much less and still feel satisified.

Hi..I started vaping about a month or so ago and started with a 510. I needed 24mg to stay satisfied. I now use a Boge Leo and am stisfied with 18mg for the most part. I found that on some flavored juices, I still require 24mg to stay satisfied, But the tobacco flavors are good at 18mg so it also depends on the juice to some degree. I was a PAD smoker and layed them down after I got the Leo. I am now completely satisfied!

Everyone will disagree.

To me, with my size drags, and my PV, and my guess that I was vaping about the same as I smoked, it seemed close. I smoked 1.5 packs of 18mg per pack cigs. I vaped what I felt was about 1.5 packs worth of drags of 18mg per ml liquid and felt fine. I used 1.5 ml per day with the small PV I had.

When you smoked, you would smoke until you were satisfied... vape until you are satisfied. If you find that you vape and vape and vape and you are never quite satisfied then you probably should try a higher nicotine mg level.

If you vape for a minute or two and you feel like you just smoked three cigarettes at once then you should try a lower nicotine mg level.

Everyone is different, there's no equation that says: if you used to smoke X cigarettes per day, then you need to get Y mg nicotine... it just doesn't work that way.

The measure of nicotine is really in the satisfaction level. If you are as satisfied as you were when you smoked then you are getting the right amount and not too much. If it makes you nauseous, you're getting too much... just like cigarettes.

I hope that helps.

If you are getting too much nicotine you will probably get a headache, lightheaded or rapid heartbeat

But if you don't feel satisfied, it may have nothing to do with the nicotine. Try a variety of juices and pay attention to the aroma and how they make you feel. Let some vapor slip out of your mouth so your nose can smell the vapor. For the first 2 months I could not vape foody/fruity juices because they left me antsy as if I had eaten and craving an analog. It didn't mean I needed more nicotine. It meant I needed different juices. I tried a bunch of tobaccos and for me the one where I said Ahhhh and felt calm and satisfied was Backwoods Brew Casablanca. I tried other Turkish blends and also liked the stronger plainer Desert Ship from FreedomSmokeUSA (which I would add vanilla, chocolate or caramelly oRYental 4 to for variety). But different people have different memories of the smell of smoking. Some people gravitate toward Honey Flue Cured, are Marlboro-alikes, or straight up Virginia type blends etc. And some people do fine on foody/fruity juices right away. You need to find what works for you.

Another part of satisfaction for many people is the TH of the juice. Nicotine's harshness is the main thing you feel hitting your throat. Juice base ratios with high PG let the throat hit through better (I.e. 70pg/30vg, 80pg/20vg etc). And some flavors have their own throat sensation (mints, menthols, spices and to a lesser extent vanilla and some liquor flavors etc)

I've been doing a lot of research lately and I think I found out what is missing in the vape. It's the fact that tobacco contains natural MAOIs which feel calm and soothing and which helps enhance the effect of the nic. These also help regulate sleep if you get them on a constant basis. I took some passionflower extract last night which has some similar natural MAOIs in it and it definitely helped my insomnia. They do interact with some drugs so do some research on them.

My normal was less than a half pack of Marlboro lights per day. But I could go several days without any and not have side effects. So I went with the 6mg nic juice and really don't feel much at all, which is OK. I still get to 'smoke' but don't have the stinky clothes, etc that go along with regular smokes. Plus the cappucino juice I have is very nice.

My wife is a pack a day (or more) and just got a 510 kit. She isn't convinced she will quit analogs, but with a state smoking ban in place she wanted the PV for when we go out. She likes the 12mg plain tobacco juice since it is closer to a Marlboro light. I suggested we get some cheesecake juice and she thought that was a bit odd.

Flavors for me, plain for her.

I've been messing around with different voltages and different resistances the past 2 days. I can definably notice a bigger nic hit with higher wattage. Which makes sense, because more heat means more liquid is vaporized. For me, I prefer around 7.5 watts. When I'm hitting near 10 watts I can't vape very much at all before I can feel my heart speed up. This is with 18mg liquid.

So basically there is no way to say how much nicotine a person will get from a drag. People use different volt batteries, different ohm attys, and different strength juice. You can put a ceiling on it I guess. Guessing most people couldn't use more than 1 drop in a long drag, that's about .05 ml. So if they were using 36 mg juice, that would be 1.8 mg of nicotine if it was possible to have perfect conversion and absorption. Since that is most likely not the case, you can assume you are getting less than that.

Am I getting the same amount of nicotine as smoking analogs. I don't yet understand the conversions and ml and so forth so I can't really tell. All I am sure about is that for the past three days I haven't really craved an analog, it's kinda like I want to do what I have always done.
The short answer is no, e-cigs are much more inefficient at delivering nicotine than smoldering tobacco. If you don't crave an analog and you don't want to scratch your eyes out then you, my friend, have found vaping nirvana.

I started vaping about 6 months ago. I started at about 20mg, and it wasn't enough. Then I went to 30mg, and it was too much. I started to get really dizzy and what felt like a sinus headache. Now I'm currently using about 24mg and its perfect. Just experiment and DON'T buy huge amounts juice with an amount of nic you haven't used yet. buy small amounts first untill you found your magic number.
