Does vapor leave any residue?

I like the glass tubes because they would show ANYTHING left behind, rather than the paper towel that big jim did (not knocking big jim.. love him to death) which wouldn't show anything that was white or very lightly colored (like the fog on my windshield) I suppose a flat piece of glass would likely show similar results, but the glass tube would show the vapor prior to any additions from your own body.

Kit - That's an interesting thought, but new/old atomizers haven't had any effect on the thickness, color, or how fast the fog covers my windshield that I have noticed. Though it would make for yet another interesting variable to test.

Those pictures are old and liquid has moved on, would be interesting to see how todays concoctions behave with knutsellpeters test.

Rule of thumb the darker the liquid the more residue so the more goo and gunk that will build up on the atomiser.

Dont know if the colour will effect what you inhail or exhale though.

Well, if the residue is the part of the liquid that doesn't vaporise, than you never inhale I suppose:confused:

I just finished washing the inside of my car windows. Just like Ryle said there was a slightly oily film. I have never smoked cigs in this car. I vape with the air cond. on and windows up (due to the neighborhood:p) and I vape 36mg or 24mg cola flavor usually. No big deal. I haven't noticed any on the computer screen I use at work. I've been blowing it right on the screen for the past 5 months and so far nothing. Oh and I am the only one that cleans it.:D I share the computer with 2 men.:p:D

I'm guessing that test was done by "Free basing" the juice? Anyone know what material those spoons were made from? The temperature the juice was heated to? Were the temperatures controlled and consistent or did the guy just put some juice in a spoon and hold a lighter under them? Not trying to be irritating but different variables produce different results when it comes to stuff like that.

Don't know if you've ever seen certain types of drugs smoked but from what I know of the process is that if you get it too hot you can burn it and the perfectly clear substance produces color and then becomes nasty and tar like.

Though that spoon test does reaffirm the suspicion that the "Residue" could be entirely related to the COLORING in the flavors rather than the flavors themselves. I've got varying levels of unflavored juice that I'll test when I do my experiment. Which by the way I am happy to tell you that my friend has agreed to make me the tubes I'll need. Now I just have to wait for him to do it :p
