While viewing the CASAA Facebook page, I saw an ad to the right of the page. The headline was something like "Does Your Man Chew tobacco?" and the text described a research study aimed at women helping their men to stop chewing tobacco.

I don't suppose their methods involve providing truthful information to these couples on the continuum of harm reduction. Good way to get your man off chewing tobacco is to introduce him to snus, no?

Evaluation of Oral Tobacco as a Harm Reduction Method for Smokers (Harm Reduction)

Investigators are examining the palatability and preference of various oral non-combustible tobacco products in cigarette smokers, which will inform the product to be tested in a second study, and which will determine the toxicity of these products compared to cigarettes, and whether or not use of these products will result in significant smoking cessation rates.

Some interesting information should come out of these studies. I wonder if the conclusions have been completed yet so they can get on with the study?
