I just checked my recipe and I use 3.0% Ansinthe flavor with no issues in a Protank II. Come to think of it I've vaped this in a EVOD last night without issue although it did cloud up one of my iClear 30's. Don't believe you really need to use 15% considering how strong this flavor is. If it's cracking glass like you say I would be worried about what it might do to your lungs at that strength.

If you really want a metal tank however get a good kayfun clone and you should be set for a long time. I am waiting on my supplier to get some since he convinced me (after trying both) they are on par with the Russian which is a bit beyond what I can justify right now. If you can afford it get a Russian and you will never go back to cheap tanks ever again.

Well i have been drooling over a kayfun... Would be fun to cloud chase with one of those... Altho its supposed to be a "dont bug the woman" tank... Ill give a clone a go i guess, cant afford the real deal atm

Holy .....! Pyrex is what they use for lab equipment -- must be something else going on. Are the o-rings in place on both ends of the glass? Are you over-tightening? Is the tank getting super hot (e.g. low res coils, etc.) (and thus perhaps over-expanding against the metal ends)? I can't imagine anything that would crack pyrex on contact -- at least nothing to vape. Cheers.

P.S. Another possibility is that it's a glass rather than pyrex tank. Do you know if this is a real PT or clone?

That's what I was thinking too - overtightening. That or it got dropped, and hairline cracks weren't noticed initially. There's no way a flavor is going to crack borosilicate. If it was that corrosive, it would have broken out of it's original bottle even quicker (and would probably do serious damage to your mouth and lungs after one inhale).
I don't know what temp is needed to crack pyrex, but I'm pretty sure it's way above anything coils can do. You can throw a pyrex dish into a 500 degree oven without any problem.

now if the good folks who assembled your tank cut the glass and did not relieve the stress of the cut (annealing) afterwards....
well that right there is a big uhh oh!
with heat cycles, the slightest pressure, or sometimes just sitting there stress in the cut will run and cause glass to crack.
seen it many times.
tink tink pop!

my lunch money is on physical or process flaw at time of build...
or
its in your pocket when you sit and it gets pressure side loaded on a glass to metal connection...
or
when filling you are torquing the beejeezus out of it to close and bottoming out o rings and stressing the glass to point of failure.

either way you are now on the stainless steel bus like me!

I bought 3 rockets (One of which I already got) and a regular kayfun clone. The kayfun clone is the same exact one you bought. Should be getting them any time now. LA 2 days ago but needs to now travel to the east coast.. Can't wait to compare notes on this one. I like the fact it comes with a metal and a polycarb clear tank.

As a side note if your not happy with the metal tip you can cut down a plastic CE4 tip and it will screw right in. That's what I did.

Also coiling and wicking is a bit tricky. Follow this thread and it will work out really well
