Okay so I'm after a new rda. Mainly looking clouds clouds clouds. Without the £££ for an dear rda. These are the two that I've came up with that's in my budget.

Has anyone owned either or both of these devices than can give me a bit more information on them as i can't decide what to go for as the pros and cons sort or weigh in together

I have both. Love both actually. I find the x v3 has better afc than the doge, but both can chuck clouds out. Just find the right build and wick it up correctly and your all set.
To me the mutation is a easier build with its positive post than the doge, but that's imho.
But on the flip, I love the chuff cap on the doge. Wide open there.

Great thanks yea I love the chuff cap on the doge can or does a chuff cap fit on the x v3? And yes I'd prefer the 4 post design as well but was wondering the the center post spins? I currently have a plume veil clone and its a nightmare because the center post spins

I haven't noticed the center post spinning on the mutation. Not sure if you can put a chuff cap on it either. If it's not set up for the mutation you can lose your air flow, with the way it's made, it so it would seem to me. Don't get me wrong the doge has great air flow, I just prefer the mutation. I use both almost daily, so imho you can't go wrong with either.

I've got a doge v2 as my daily driver. The post holes are large enough that unless you're using extremely large diameter wire in a quad build then you should have no problem with it. The holes are something like 3mm+. It chucks the vapor but, IMO, it can restrict some of your build choices due to the size of the build deck.
It's got massive airflow which at wide open might actually be a touch too much unless you're running high wattages on a regulated mod.
Never had a problem with a spinning positive post either.
Overall.... It'd be a good choice.

I had the Doge v1, assuming it is basically the same as the v2, and I hated how much airflow it had. Yeah it blew clouds but I didnt like having full lungs on 1 second pulls. I also recently gave my Mutation X v3 to my friend as an early birthday present since he didn't like his Plume Veil. While I used it, the Mutation won as far as those two RDAs go. Not too airy, and obviously not restrictive at all. No post spinning issues at all, but it did spit juice onto my lips and into my mouth no matter how careful I was with dripping. And it leaked from the top cap after I put it back on after dripping. A chuff cap might solve the spitting and leaking issue since you could drip right through that. However, I don't know how much airy-er it would be with the chuff.

Thanks. Think in going to go for the x v3. I currently have the plume veil as well and I don't like it either
