I'll play.
1. If you were an analog user: How long were you using analogs before you switched?
Shockingly close to 30 years.
2. How long have you been using a PV without analogs?
Five weeks.
3. Do you use both analogs and a PV?
Nope. I quit the day my first order arrived, and I didn't mean to. When people congratulate me for quitting, I wave it off. They might as well congratulate me for breathing. Or blinking. It was that easy.
4. Economically speaking, how much have you saved using a PV compared to your old analog habit?
Alas, this is a question that's difficult, due to the short time I've been using ecigs. I've saved $320 from not buying cigs, but spent more than that on gear and juice (though not by much, by the end of this month I'll break even). I know it's overboard, but I'm set for many months at this point, if I don't give in to my strangely STRONG desire to buy more juice and gear, just to see if I like it.
5. What was the reason you switched to PVs in the first place?
The guy I like started using an eGo, enjoys it, and cut back drastically on his smoking. So, thought I'd give it a go (so to speak). Searching for information on the eGo led me pretty quickly to reviews of Halo, which is obviously what I chose.
I suppose it might be relevant that I've never really tried to quit. I mostly enjoyed smoking, but here and there I gave nicotine replacements a try, primarily when I knew I'd be in a place where I couldn't smoke for long periods of time. The gum was bitter, the disposable/Blus were unsatisfying, nothing was actually enjoyable. And none of the drugs (Wellbutrin, Chantix) appealed to me -ever-. A few times over the decades I'd sort of test out quitting, by not buying cigs when I ran out. Once, I made it to around 30 hours, and I thought I was going to lose my mind. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't think straight. Yeesh. Nicotine is a hellova drug.
My experience with Halo, the utter ease with which I quit smoking, is still shocking to me. I've already been able to drop from 18mg to 12mg without noticing.
6. Have you noticed any health benefits? (Better breathing, etc?)
Slightly, I'm noticing better breathing. Definitely noticing increased sensory details (smells and tastes). Mostly I can't get enough of how wonderful my clothes, hair, and apartment smell now.
7. How did you find Halo?
Woops, pre-answered that one.
8. (Halo is my favorite company out there, and my brand of choice.) If this is the same for you, please state the reasons you like Halo the best!
Well, my only real experience is with Halo. I will say that I feel confident that I purchased excellent devices, and the same can be said with regard to their juices. I feel very lucky to have found them right off the bat.
