So I purchased a Joye 510 a few weeks ago and recently started using it, was waiting for some juice to come in the mail, for the first couple of hits when I smoke it the vapor taste grate and is not harsh at all. But after about the third hit it gets real harsh and lacks flavor. At first I thought that I might not put enough liquid into the cart but when I checked it it was still pretty full. I even switched atty's and still the same thing. The first time I used the second atty it worked great but after that the same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong or is there a chance that I got a bad batch of atty's?

It could be a couple of things. Here's what to check first:
*did you blow all the primer out of the atomizer before trying to use it?
*did you prime the atomizer with a couple of drops of juice before using it?
*is the filler in your cartridge flush with the opening of the cart so that it will come into direct contact with the bridge of the atomizer?

All good possibilities. Also make sure you line up your cart correctly so you don't burn the plastic. You will do fine and welcome. Feel free to ask questions; no judgments here.
yeah I did everything but blow it out first....I recently blew both atty's out so hopefully if I start everything all over it will help. I also I'm using a 30mg liquid...Could that make it a little harsher than say a 18mg?
Okay, so there is a bit of a learning curve here. All of us have been through it in one way or another. Sometimes it is very hard to understand the exact problems you may be facing. It would be helpful to to go through some of these posts. If none of this helps get you over the hump, post back, this is a never ending source of great information.

theres also surface charge. wen u first take it off the charger and go to use it the first few tokes can dreadfully harsh if you dont prime a good few times, i never inhale untill after ive been using the unit for a couple min but especially wen using filler cartridges, i was always having to take it out and check for a proper connection from filler to bridge. not to mention topping off every 7 hits or so..
good luck and try not to get frustrated. we all run into these little slumps sometimes were somthins just all of a sudden got a burnt taste or a harshness of some type. it happens. just run thru your checklist of all possible things it could be, and hopefully youll find your answer without having to toss an atty into the graveyard pile in the back of your box
