Congrats Mag!!! I like that you will be a regular on the forum. It helped me tremendously.

Congrats to the OP and to you too Dmass!! Your banner say's 365.51 days, woot a year in the books. My story is very much the same as the OP. The e-cig arrived, I charged a batt and voila no more analogs, way to easy after 25 years and 2 PAD.

No man's land
When I first looked at these boards I thought some of it was nonsense. Like I thought it was just a big sleazy advertisement for e-cigs. The enthusiasm people had for the devices seemed fishy to me. But now that I have one I totally get where the enthusiasm is coming from. Buying an e-cig might be one of the most important purchases of my entire life. After 40 days of vaping, I already feel like my life is just way better.

- I no longer smell like smoke (and coincidentally I notice how bad smokers do smell)
- I can taste.... food tastes better now than it has in years.
- I have energy and my lungs already feel brand new. I can run and climb stairs without coughing or getting dizzy.
- I've saved a lot money already, and at the current rate I'll save potentially thousands of dollars a year.
- This might save my life! I've been smoking off and on for about 8 years, since I was 16. Since I'm pretty confident that I'll never smoke analog cigarettes again, the risk of developing lung cancer or other smoking-related diseases is way less.

E-cigs are becoming popular on the internet, but it's kind of depressing that they're still relatively unknown to the general public. Given the very obvious merits, it's surprising that there aren't chain stores popping up dedicated purely to vaping.

What's also depressing is that a lot of people think people that vape are dorks. There's already a stigma that I've noticed. People judge me because I'm smoking an e-cig instead of a cigarette. LOL excuse me for not wanting to die, right?
