Unfortunately flash has decided to go bananas on my system, but it seems FDA might help ensuring better quality, especially for E-Juice. One of their concerns is that E-Juice sometimes doesn't contain what it claims. Especially that nicotine content is sometimes wildly off, and I think we all want to be able to rely on the content of whatever we buy.

My bottom line worry is that the more people begin to wise-up and choose to vape instead of smoke, the less the government gets their greedy little hands on the tax money they collect now from smokers, and you get bet they"re going to find some excuse to start taxing the mess out of our pv's and juice. I just don't see us all being able beat the system once they get too involved.

between here and there
The point I am trying to get across is where does the BAN stand for the FDA and Ecig companies today are they still pushing the issue? Are there in fact some downside to Esmoking?

I have only found benefits from vaping.....and it has been over 8 months for me. FDA still barks once in a while, no bite yet.

Awesome feedback, thanks for the input. I agree with the fact that maybe there is 'some' but they don't even compare to a fraction of the effects of traditional smoking, I am just glad I have switched to the Ecig. " The Food and Drug Administration said testing of products from two leading electronic cigarette makers turned up several toxic chemicals, including a key ingredient in antifreeze " ... come on really??? Think not ...

What the FDA didn't say was that the carcinogens are the same as NRT's that are used today. The anti-freeze scare was just that....a scare tactic.

the basis upon which njoy has been able to win comes down to this...it's better for us to claim that the FDA needs to classify e cigs as a tobacco product (and follow existing regulations under such) than for them to get away with claiming e cigs are therapuetic devices. Such a claim would have resulted in them being able to pull e cigs until they could undergo "further testing" It's the lesser of two evils for us to be able to just go ahead with the tobacco product classification. The njoy lawyers argued that nicotine is a derivative of tobacco.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Yes it's great not to have to pay as much as smoking. But the best part is the health gains. If I have to pay the same tax as when I was smoking then so be it. At least then I wouldn't have to worry about if I'm going to run out of juice or not. Isn't the most important thing the gains in health ?

You have a good point but I would, for just once in my life, be able to enjoy something that doesn't have a tax imposed on it. Wouldn't you?
